Coromandel Orchard Cottage
Cottage in cedro con una camera da letto, immerso in un giardino cottage con un sentiero che conduce ai frutteti. La proprietà è impostata su 1. 5 ettari, completamente autonomo con un letto matrimoniale / camera da letto e NUOVO con bagno (luglio 2011), oltre a nuovo divano letto (novembre 2013) nella zona giorno open space. Incantevole luogo caldo in cui soggiornare sia in estate che in inverno perché è esposto a nord e ha un fuoco a legna per l'inverno, con aria condizionata e riscaldamento a richiesta.
La proprietà è un'oasi di una varietà di frutta nei frutteti che copre la proprietà. La maggior parte dei periodi dell'anno c'è frutta da assaggiare. Nella parte posteriore della proprietà è il torrente Driving Creek dove è stato scoperto il primo oro in Nuova Zelanda e oggi troverete cristalli per un souvenir.
A pochi passi (5 minuti) si trova la famosa Driving Creek Railway, dove Barry Brickell, un vasaio famoso in tutto il mondo ha creato un ambiente davvero affascinante, con vasai e la sua famosa ferrovia PLUS. Ora c'è il Driving Creek Wildlife Sanctuary e la nuova Art Gallery che esporre la collezione privata di Barry di artigiani famosi per non dimenticare le favolose vedute del porto e delle isole. Vedi anche la ristrutturazione degli alberi nativi e la vita selvaggia. Sulla strada fermati al funky Driving Creek Cafe.
Il borgo storico di Coromandel è sotto i 3 km, con favolosi ristoranti e negozi di artigianato. I 3 pub locali offrono tutti i furgoni di cortesia porta a porta. Il cottage è di 7-8 minuti per la spiaggia più vicina sicura o meno di 30 minuti per il bellissimo Whangapoua, NEW CHUMS e Matarangi Beaches sulla costa orientale.
Ci sono anche passeggiate nel bush verso gli alberi Giant Kauri nativi, gli studi di artisti da visitare, una grande regione di pesca - se non si dispone di una barca saremo lieti di organizzare un viaggio per voi o un viaggio a Cape, forse.

I felt so welcomed at Shirley’s. The photos of the cottage do not do justice to how lovely it is. It is designed so beautifully and has everything you would need for a stay. To have the fire going and tūī feeding in the tree right outside the window on a winters day was truely idyllic. Thanks for having me.

I had an incredible weekend away from the city in Shirley and Tim’s cottage. It was everything I could have hoped for. I felt very lucky to get to experience their hospitality and share in the beautiful slice of life they enjoy. What can I say that hasn’t been said? Just book this place you won’t regret it!

This property is well over and above expectation. Everything is top of the range. Beautiful linen, towels etc. Very well equiped kitchen. Comfy (felt like new,) bed. Very cosy with wood burner and heat pump. Fresh flowers beautifully arranged. Just a few minutes drive to town. Gorgeous quiet, private garden. Highly recommend.

The cottage is really well set up in a lovely location. I was attending a course at Driving Creek so I was just around the corner and the property is beautiful. Shirley and Tim were super-helpful and the cottage had everything I needed. Thanks so much.

We had a lovely stay at Shirley and Tim's cottage. It was presented to a very high standard - very well equipped with everything you need as well as warm and comfortable. The photos don't do it justice - it was even better in real life. Shirley was very welcoming. A great base for exploring the Coromandel or for chilling out and relaxing. Highly recommend.

Shirley and Tim were lovely and made us very welcome. The cottage was spotless and had more than enough of everything that we needed for our stay, and was warm and cosy. In a very pretty garden setting.

Loved this cottage and it's surrounds. Both Shirley and Tim were helpful and friendly. Stayed 5 nights by myself and felt very much at home. The cottage was true to listing and everything you needed was supplied. Also in a great position just out of town by Driving Creek. Hope to go back next year.

The hostess was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The setting was lovely being in the orchard and flower gardens. The attention to detail, fresh flowers in each room, original art on the walls,and an excellent comfortable bed made a good nights sleep. Everything you might need was in the kitchen. Media,games and books were provided.

Was an awesome break from Auckland, weather was fab sitting on a beach fishing, The stream down the back was amazing after being in the sun all day and the dog loved it

Overall a very private quiet place to stay.Had everything handy to use and gardens were amazing.A topper would be good on the bed though as a bit hard to sleep on.Otherwise all good.

We had a four night stay at the cottage. It was our second visit. A well-equipped, comfortable property set among beautiful gardens. Shirley is a lovely host. Would love to visit again.

We loved our 3 night stay. Our dogs got to come with us and without the owners looking after our dogs we wouldnt have been able to do the Driving Creek Railway. We were so grateful to Shirley and her husband for doing this for us. Would definitely come back again, and DEFINITELY recommend staying here.

The cottage is really great value for money - well priced but extremely well appointed. It felt like staying in a home away from home, there was nothing that we could have wanted that wasn't available - a complete kitchen, very comfortable bed, nice size bathroom (shower), and comfortable open plan lounge/kitchen/dining area with fireplace, satellite TV, etc. The cottage is spacious, and the fresh cut flowers was a nice touch. We dined on the covered porch overlooking a lovely English style garden with birdsong and an adjacent orchard. Shirley the host was very pleasant and always up for a friendly chat and making sure we had everything we needed. This was the best holiday accommodation we've stayed at. Highly recommended.

Shirley and Tims cottage is so georgous. With a lovely walm friendly welcome from Shirley we felt instantly at home. The cottage is amongst the most beautiful cottage carden and trees so well maintained. The cottage is spotlessly clean and so well appointed. There is everything you need and more with georgous little touches every where. Comfortable bed and beautiful linnen you can just feel the love that has been put into this lovely place. 10 out of ten i didnt want to leave! Thankyou Shirley and Tim for sharing your beautifully property with us and welcoming our dog. Cant wait to come back.

The gardens surrounding the cottage are beautiful and it feels very private. The cottage was spotless and had everything you could need and the hosts are lovely and really care about making sure you are comfortable. I would highly recommend.

Really comfortable and well-appointed unit, with a lovely friendly and helpful host. Everything was thought of, including delightful flower arrangements in the rooms. Very warm and well furnished, our only regret was that it was too warm to light the fire! Highly recommend it, a great base to explore the area.

The booking was easy as was communication with Shirley. I was met on arrival and made to feel so welcome. The cottage is in a idyllic garden setting, can only imagine how beautiful it would be in the summer. Inside was perfect - everything was supplied, lovely linens and towels, comfy bed and the wood fire jusf made it like home. Thank you Shirley and Tim.
