The design of this hotel was stunning. Truly stunning. Location and neighborhood was sublime.

My room was located near a service door on the first floor and the staff traffic and noise were unfortunate.

I liked the small restaurant where I had breakfast which I think is much nicer than the actual breakfast room where I had breakfast once. My room, once it had been changed, was lovely, spacious and light. I would like to thank Sven de Boer for his help in this matter. The position of the hotel is excellent and right in the middle of everything, which makes it perfect to walk to restaurants and shops. Being on the canal was beautiful and gave one the great vibe of Amsterdam.

The first room I was given was nothing like the photos. I spent the first night there and hated it. There was not even a chest of drawers to put anything in. It was dark and had no storage and in my opinion should not be used until it is revamped. I complained the next day and a very nice young man called Sven de Boer changed my room for another one which exceeded my expectations. The hot water does not get hot enough and the air conditioner does not go above 24.

The property is ideally located within walking distance to attractions, shops, bars, and restaurants. The team at the Pulitzer is friendly, and the service is outstanding.

Cream in little tubs, rather than milk, was provided with in-room tea/coffee making facilities. This was ok in coffee but wasn’t good in tea. Some days none was provided at all and when I phoned reception one morning to ask for some, they didn’t deliver any until after we’d gone out.

You get what you pay for . Attentive staff and great vibe in a fabulous location .

Beautiful, comfortable bedding, excellent staff , all very nice and helpful. You could tell they meant it when they asked you if you needed assistance. Food was good but not great. While we loved our stay it is slightly overpriced.

Great facilities, the beds were really comfortable. The provided breakfast was really good too.

Somehow a strange 30 € minibar charge was added to the invoice, but it was removed as soon as I pointed it out during check out.

The hotel was centrally located and walkable to the Rijks etc.

Since the rooms are not spacious in those canal houses, storage in the bedroom for your clothing is not available.

Superb location. Great personnel. The concept of adopting several original houses, connecting them with a-maze-ing net of corridors full of artworks, and topping that all up with a secluded garden. Not to mention stylish rooms, self understanding cleanliness, or attention to (almost all) details both in design and execution. The place to be, unwind, socialise in the bar with a drink prepared by the guys ready to accept even the weird mixing challenges, or to escape from the touristy crowd outside.

Just a few minute details. Tired window in the room, which could have no longer keep itself together in the frame. slightly overhyped Jansz restaurant - very good overall and with the great professional team of staff, just some dishes were a bit lost in the execution. Yet - as mentioned - those are just minute details.
