Very comfy beds. Quiet corridors.
Dated.. if you want to feel young in your mid-50’s, this is the place for you! However, if you’re looking for a warm welcome, a cool place to stay, and believe that the inviting pool photos are representative of the reality, think again. Congrats to the website photographer.

Showers need a little maintenance and wood floor cracks all the time and it’s very loud, but that also has its charm

Great location and a classic old property. Lovely courtyard for a drink in the afternoon, and just a short stroll from the pretty old town with many restaurants and bars.
Unfortunately our restaurant meal was poor - even though the menu sounded good, it was not well executed. The restaurant staff were also a bit brusque. The shower was over the bathtub and overall the hotel needs a bit of a revamp to bring it up to the standard expected of a Paradore. Other hotels at this price point include tea and coffee makers in the rooms.

The decor, patio, and location.
Although the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, the bar staff and others were not very accommodating. More training in sociolinguistics and smiling needed.

-First night when we went back to the hotel we saw a rat inside the cafeteria.
-King bed sizes were two small beds put together.
-Parking was always full

The ambiance, swimming pool and terrace. The hotel personnel were very approachable and helpful.
We did not go to the local beaches, preferring the lovely beaches on Isla de Arousa a short drive away.
We enjoyed the last few days of the Fiesta del Albarino.
The breakfast was delicious but we thought overpriced - we mainly went to local panadería.

It's a nice place, old and traditional in a good location to walk around the town. They have a cosy courtyard inside, where it was nice to have some pre-dinner drinks and snacks.
Being it an old building, the soundproofing between rooms is poor. You can hear neighbours shower very well or somebody talking in a hall. Although overall the place is quiet, with no outside noise.

Good location, nice looking hotel and secure parking. Nice courtyard and bar with a good wine list.
Bathroom not cleaned after the first night and no replacement of toiletries. Bed had 3 beds and the extra space would have been nice. Only one chair as a result.

We loved the little town of Cambados and the location is excellent.
We stayed for just one night and told them that we had to leave early the next morning at check in. They did not offer us the option of a take away breakfast, but apparently, they would have if we’d asked. Of course, we didn’t know and only found out as we were checking out and it was too late. That was disappointing. So, We never got to try the food there.

We have stayed in Paradores many times and the quality of Parador de Cambados was no exception. The staff made us feel welcome and were very accomodating. Our room was perfect and the breakfasts were great. Location was across from the bay and next to the City centre.

An old style hotel which was set in a great location in Cambados. Pool was great.
The price of spirits in the hotel bar was extortionate in comparison to wine prices.
