The staff were so friendly (Aditya) property was clean and in good location very close to ferry station

I have been to Marina hotel 3 or 4 times so I knew what to expect.Hotel is perfectly situated on the main promenade with fantastic view at Valletta.Nearby there are many shops,eating and drinking places.Ferry is opposite the hotel and bus stop is next to the hotel so you can be connected by bus with the best places in Malta.Shopping mall The Point is about 300 m.The staff is very pleasant,helpful.Hotel is very clean and room cleaning is daily done if you wish.Sitting on the roof terrace with jacuzzi is modernized and jacuzzi is warm enough.

Everything was OK without any problems

Location is great/best, if you keep in mind that its busy and very central and are not expecting a quiet place. Staff always available, friendly and responsive. The rooms with marina view are spacious and comfortable and the view over the marina is great - the balcony here beats all the waterfront bars/restaurants.

The interior spaces like the hallways and elevators are somewhat delapidated, so just need to never mind them. Sound isolation from the other rooms and street is not great, but I did note that everyone quiets down after 11-ish, so no big disturbances.

Die Lage war sehr central, direkt am Fährhafen u n d allen Bushaltestellen, mit wunderbarem Blick hinüber nach Valletta. Das Service-Personal war sehr aufmerksam, ständiger Wechsel der Handtücher und Säuberung des Zimmers. Einmaliger Discount von 15% auf das abendliche Dinner

Keine Beanstandungen, alles war aus unserer Sicht in Ordnung

Unfortunately the jacuzzi was broken and no view from window but otherwise was great

Location! The bathroom was quite large and nice. It suited my needs.

My bed made loud noises when moving around. Minor thing but bit annoying. The ventilation system is quite weak. When you open the window, you can feel the smell from the restaurant. (Room with air shaft window)

The staff were exceptional really friendly. The air conditioning was great too

The beds could have been abit more comfy

Shower not working so couldn’t shower Staff not bothered with my inconvenience just saying. “ we will fix it”. No Apology; no offer of compensation , no concern what so every Room too warm. Bed uncomfortable , sleep interrupted The 60% higher price than last year was for a Sea view room but i got a small side room with no view atcall

1. Location - ferry, buses, restaurants etc were within 1-2 minute walk from hotel 2. Lovely harbor view if you have a superior sea view room with balcony. 3. Great views from rooftop restaurant. 4. The front desk clerks were extremely helpful.

1. Insufficient drawer/shelf space for clothes or toiletries. Highly recommend the management to furnish the rooms. 2. Very small, slow and dark elevators (lifts).

Excellent location! - right across the ferry to Valleta and bus terminals. Centrally positioned in Sliema, close to restaurants and bars. Clean, quiet room overlooking the yard, comfortable bed.

Outdated, but clean bathroom.

No Double glazing so therefore very noisy. Mattress was lumpy. Room was smelly. We thought that there was a restaurant in the hotel but apparently the Opa restaurnt which was outside was rented by someone not connected to the hotel.

Location is comfortable, near a ferry terminal that brings you to Valletta in ~10 mins. WiFi works just fine. I didn't try the breakfast, it was way too early for me. The hotel is walking distance from plenty of bars, pubs, restaurants and cafes. Excellent value for money.

The rooms sound insulation could improve. I could hear the other room and some street noise. Nothing too awful though.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is close to the bus stops. It is also on the sea front. close to amenities and abundance of food places. The view from my room was epic. The staff were very friendly and helpful. THe breakfast was OKish, with a range of food, bread and drinks. My stay was great and would definitely stay again.

The décor is rather old and dated and could do with modernisation. The lifts were small and slow. The cleaners start cleaning the rooms rather early, which can be an inconvenience if you want a lie in.

It's an old hotel so expect some blemishes here and there

My chosen room description stated that I would only have a yard view, so I was pleasantly surprised to have a partial view of the picturesque marina. The room was spacious and had a mini-fridge, which is always nice to have in a warmer climate. There was a choice of thinner and thicker pillows, a rarity for such budget accommodation.

1) The room that I was initially given had no remote for the TV, the reception could not give me a suitable remote, and the TV had no buttons on it for me to watch it without the remote, so they moved me to another room on the second day. 2) The blanket was simply placed between two sheets instead of a proper duvet cover, which felt uncomfortable. 3) There is a church on the eastern side of the hotel, with its clock bell ringing regularly, day and night. So if you are a light sleeper, I suggest requesting a room on the western side of the hotel. 4) There was a strange recurrent issue with towels throughout my stay: I used towels sparingly and never placed any on the floor for replacement, yet the towels I was using were kept being removed by the cleaning staff on a daily basis - with no new towels added! At one point I actually had to go down to reception to ask for a new towel, otherwise I would have none left!
