Rummet var bra, våningsplan 1, med fönster.
Hotellet hade redan direkt innanför ytterdörrarna en viss lukt av avlopp/kloak. Under hela vistelsen. Liknande lukt från brunn på badrummet. Fick ta tvål och spola lite vatten varje gång jag skulle vistas där. Det måste ni komma tillrätta med!
Byt mugg på rummet/rummen! : jag gjorde både te och kaffe mha vattenkokaren, men fick vänta tills drycken kallnat orimligt mkt pga att det ej gick att hålla i (melamin?-) muggen.

Mooie ligging; je ben met 15 minuten in het oude centrum en met 15 minuten bij het museumeiland. Rondom het hotel op 5 a 10 minuten lopen zijn genoeg leuke restaurants en cafés
Kamers zijn prima maar gedateerd. Kamer had ook wat schoner gemogen. Ontbijtbuffet was oké maar niet heel bijzonder. Je moet er ook optijd komen voor het ontbijt, ze ruimen het buffet ruim voortijd al op.

Läget var kanonbra och resturangen på hotellet serverade fantastisk mat på kvällen.
Vi klagade på storleken på rummet då ena rummet var efter förväntan medans kollegans rum var mer som en skrubb. Fick dock ingen respons eller någon form av kompensation. Vi hade inte kryssat i att rummen skulle ligga bredvid varandra så det borde gått att få likvärdiga rum. I detta fallet kändes det som att ett rum var budget men debiterades som det större rummet. Frukosten var medioker. Hade förväntat mig mer då hotellet ändå ligger i ett mer exklusivt område. Dock var det kanske min egen erfarenhet av hotellfrukostar som höjde mina förväntningar av att detta hotell skulle leverera en bättre standard då det ligger i ett bra område

Location is great!
Bathroom wasn't clean and moldy. Beside the bathroom it was clean. I did expect more variety with breakfast but it was 4 days the same.

Great location!
We were in the junior suite. It was wonderfully large. And had the only accessible balcony (right under the neon “Crystal Plaza”)
There were a couple small steps up into the bathroom. Water that invariably got out of the shower wanted to head down the steps. We blocked it with a towel. That way the water properly found it’s way to the drain under the bathtub.
The breakfast was so-so.

Frühstück ist reichhaltig und reicht allemal um in den neuen Tag zu starten. Die Buslinie 2 zum Zentrum ist nur ca. 50m vom Hotel entfernt. Die Zimmer zum Innenhof sind absolut ruhig.
Die Betten waren sehr durchgelegen (Kuhle). Die Zimmer zur Straße (Birger Jarlsgatan) sind sehr laut. Die Zimmer zum Innenhof sind sehr abgewohnt und aufgrund eines gläsernen Durchgangs zwischen 2 Gebäuden die ganze Nacht hell erleuchtet (Vorhang ist aber vorhanden).

Erkerzimmer ist sehr geräumig und hat einem Balkon
Frühstück ist umfangreich aber nicht abwechslungsreich (z.B. Wurst, Käse,Süßspeisen )
In das Zentrum zu Fuß sind es 20 Minuten
In Nassbereich gab es nur eine Dusche und kein Waschbecken.
Dieses befand sich auf der anderen Seite im WC.
Einrichtung ist teilweise schon sehr abgenützt.
Fenster und Balkontüre verzogen und schließen schlecht.

The location of the hotel was very good. Within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Room which we booked was nice.
Unfortunately we didn’t get it directly. We had to spend first night in first floor not so nice room.
Breakfast was nice.
That we didn’t get the room we booked right a way.
Breakfast-room was too tiny. We had to sit in separate tables.

Die Lage ist sehr zentral, mit Bushaltestelle gleich vor der Tür und zur Tunnelbahn nicht weit.
Sehr lautes Umfeld…Straßenlärm und aus den umliegenden Clubs sehr lange laute Musik

De rökte precis utanför entrén så det luktade rök i lobbyn varje gång jag gick där. Samma om jag hade fönstret öppet. Då kom röken in i rummet. En kudde var för lite med de kuddarna.

I stayed in this hotel several times in the 1990's when it was called the 'Karelia'. I loved it then and it lived up to my memories, I still love it. It's also a very interesting building architecturally.
I have no complaints.

We stayed here 2022. That time the room was fine. Location was convenient, and breakfast good.
This stay august 27 and 28, was not good. The room was so very tiny and hard for 2 people to move around. The bathroom door opening touches the bed. It caused me to trip and fall. I chipped a tooth.

Comfortable hard bed.
Opening the windows was no problem.
The chinese restaurant (where breakfast was served) was not able to manage all the people (and cleared my stuff multiple times before I was finished with it).
The room doors were extremely noisy to operate.
Noise from other rooms.

There was no pre information from reception nor apologies upon departure for the noise that kept us from sleeping.
