Our week long stay at the Manly Pacific was exceptional as ALL staff could not do enough for us. I had escorted my 91 year old mother to Sydney for possibly/probably her final international trip and everyone made her feel special and treated her "like royalty". The few times when I had to leave her alone in the room, both reception and concierge checked on her regularly, ensuring she was safe and well, and when she did venture to the hotel entrance/lounge area or dining room on her own, again she was given the best of attention. Also our 3rd floor room, overlooking the beach was beautifully presented, meticulously clean and tidy, and again the cleaning staff so respectful of my mother needing time for rest. I also couldn't believe how quiet/sound proofed the room was, with no noise at night. I would happily recommend and definitely will return to stay in the future.

Location was perfect. Bed really comfy. Liked the long shelf under the TV plenty of room to put your suitcase on. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast, staff were very attentive and a lovely view from there

Small children running up and down the hallway (or possibly an adjoining room) running noises and children's voices at 6.30am woke us up and a female talking really loud at the same time. This went on for a good half an hour. This was not your fault though and was the only negative

My car didn’t fit under the car park and it meant I had to move my car every two hours to stop a fine. It was so annoying

Location

I originally paid in full up front using a credit card. On arrival I provided my debit card details for incidental costs (e.g. minibar). On leaving I noticed the full amount for my stay had been deducted from my debit card. I informed the check out desk, who said they were sorry and I would be refunded in 4 - 10 days. 8 days later I still haven’t been refunded and I am now overdrawn in my current account and incurring bank charges. This is unacceptable.

The bed was super comfy! So much for a walk on the beach after breakfast, I went back to bed for another snooze!

Check out is 11am, but room key locks you out at 10am, very annoying when you are in a large group and have to rush everything forward when you realise your door is no longer coded to your card

Nice hotel with a great location. Booked a sea view room overlooking Manly beach and view was lovely.

The slowest lift in the world.

The foyer, bar and staff were great! We were happy that staff gave us ice whenever needed and heated up our left over food and were able to hold our bahs before and after checking in and out.

The room facilities were definitely not up to a standard of $500 a night, more like $300 a night. The rooms did not compare to the upgrades to the rest of Manly Pacific's upgrades. There should be a microwave in the room or some for availability to the room. There were no bedside drawers to put your clothes in, only bench tops and hanging spots. We were placed in a room right next to a school yard which was quite noisy! I went there for my 50th Birthday Celebration and I would say that it was quite satisfactory for the price we paid.

The staff looked after us as soon s we arrived. The room was great and the view excellent. The ground floor bar overlooked the beach and the cocktails were delicious.

The cocktail bar was understaffed so there was quite a long wait for drinks.

Location is unbeatable and the fit out is terrific

Hotel it self is getting dated and requires some remedial work to tidy things up. The room was clean but the ensuite not as clean, the grout and light fittings were dirty.

Breakfast was great! Location was amazing. Hotel was awesome!

Toilets at the pool needed a clean

We as a family will completely rethink if we stay with you guys again due the fact you have now let dogs into the Hotel. We were in room 420, guests in room 422 had a dog and left it in the room while they left which I continued to bark none stop. One morning the dog was barking at 7:30am. I spoke with reception, nothing happened, I spoke to the owners who said there dog doesn’t bark. The poor dog was stressed out and your reception and the owners of the dog just did not care. If you value an animal over paying customers who have showed a long history of loyalty, well again, I’ll report think us coming to stay. Stephen Head +61 424322474

Great location on the beach front. Modern. Large comfy beds. Friendly and responsive staff. Nice bar area.

Not enough lifts - took ages to call one. The outside pool is unheated so was cold and there wasnt any umbrellas for shade (which you need in Oz). Also you had to pay for everything extra ie parking and to use the sauna and bottled water in the room. It’s a pricey hotel so would expect these things to be included. Have some beach volley balls and body boards available to loan FOC - help guests make the most of the beach location without making them hire everything. It’s a lovely hotel and I only rated it down on value for money for the rate we paid. If you included these extras then I’d feel happier with the price and rate 10/10.

Room Service pizza (after 11pm at night) staff were very understanding and refunded the order. Other things ordered from room service were fantastic.

Location is superb, directly opposite Manly Beach. Breakfast service was good.

For nearly $950 a night (Seaview room), you’d expect a lot more. No bathtub, no coffee machine, extremely basic bathroom amenities etc. The hotel looks and feels more like a Holiday Inn than a 5 star property. Signage in the hotel is also poor. We spent 10 minutes trying to figure out where the gym was before eventually giving up. Rooftop area is mediocre. It isn’t an infinity pool, so you don’t get to see much of a sea view once inside. My partner and I had to pay an additional $40 to use the sauna. Bizarre.

Loved the facilities (like the Pool & Sauna) and the ocean view from our room. The styling of the place felt very fresh & luxe and the staff were lovely.

Loved everything, however the toiletries could be a bit better to match the price tag for certain rooms. Other than that was perfect.

Beauifully clean rooms and loved the eco ethos. The views from the pool were amazing. Staff friendly. Will definitely book this hotel when I return to Sydney!!
