we booked two rooms. In one was not good smell, like in old rooms.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is located close to shops and restaurants. And the hike up to the palace and Buçaco National Forest was fun and short (and i found a shortcut going back to the hotel). It was an adventure.

As soon as we entered the hotel, it had a very lovely smell and simple, but pretty decoration. We really enjoyed the coziness of the room and it smelled like flowers when we opened it. We appreciated the fact that there was a bottle of water and glasses in the room. We were also glad to see that the bathroom had a bathtub. The receptionist was kind and thoughtful.

The only thing that was a little tricky was the size of the room itself, it is a little small, however, the comfort in it makes up for it.

The room was small, but clean and perfect for a short stay.

There was a sofa. Sleeping with the door of the balcony opened and liste the sound of the water from the fountain nearby
