Rooms were satisfactory good value

Service was well below par. Only two towels for four people. No one on site at reception. Put through multiple people on the phone who passed onto the next person. No one showed up to reception. Very poor

Clean, comfortable bed, fantastic shower, great location

Interior could do with a coat of paint.

not maintained very well,ants crawling across the carpet, walls and doors previously drawn on. Nearly everything screwed to walls was hanging off, curtains barely hung up in the bedroom. Mouldy shower . Very disappointed

Location was fantastic for where we needed to be.

We were actually sent to another motel as the owner said the room that we had booked was trashed by the previous customers. Turns out the same story was also told to a friend travelling with me on a seperate booking. So the owner wouldn’t have known….Coincidence ??? The place was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke in the public area. My room smelled like an ashtray while my friend found a large kitchen knife under the bed. I think we made a mistake when booking and accidentally typed accommodation for crack dealers in the search bar

Everything. Room was as described and was ready when we arrived (I by bus and my sisters by car) at the appointed time. Everything was immaculate and the very willing manager supplied a couple of requested items at once. We were able to access the city/restaurants/gallery etc easily on foot or by car. The unit was comfortable, quiet, well-equipped, well-priced and very clean.

A hairdryer would have been useful but that is a very minor matter.

It is hard to think of things I liked as my booking in Abbey motor lodge has been cancelled by its management 2 hours before our check-in time. This is understandable considering they had unforeseen circumstances. However, I was not offered an option to cancel and re-book somewhere else instead. They rebooked us into its sister lodge, called 136 on Bealey motor lodge, which is located in the same street as Abbey lodge. I had to pay for 2 extra nights which I did not end up staying as they refused to provide us any form of refund when I was not happy about the new accomodation that they placed us in.

Unhelpful management staff who does not listen to customers' concerns and feedback. In future I will be making sure to look carefully and not book accomodation ran by this company.

The host Michael was great.He gave me a introduction to all items and facilities available.

Stayed at 136 on Bealey as Abbey was full.. 136 is another of the motels owned by same complex Tidy comfortable place Netflix was awesome
