Staff was outstanding

Only negative tv did not work

This is a luxury property and I would did not stay here because of past reviews, which were wrong. i also drove by it on bicycle often and there are run down properties next door to Hotel Gabbiano, but the Gabbiano has been renovated and is gorgeous and quite modern. There is a room level for every need, from solo traveler to family with pets. The full dining room is stunning and decorated. There are no hotels that look like this for a hundred miles, and you wake up to the sunrise and are so close to the beach, you just grab a towel and you take 20 steps and you are there.

I think the travel websites should remove false reviews from complaining guests who are wrong. i could have stayed here for months and believed reviews that were very wrong. I guess i also do not like if there are free bicycles in the signup, it does say 'if available', but they were never available for a lot of days. But they are free!

The staff is amazing. Please do not expect Italian workers to cater to your English speaking restrictions. This is a country with great national pride. Learn their language, or carry a quality translation app on your phone.

Business generally do not provide paper receipts here and it gets scary when you need documentation. This hotel is not unique about this but it is very nerve wracking and they get annoyed with you need help on this. It's not the hotel it's the area.

For that price it's excellent

I stayed in the hotel on my hiking route around Bari. The room was comfy and the breakfast delicious.

The hotel is a stone throw away from the sea (beautiful, clear water!), which is also a great location for swimming. The hotel provides a lovely breakfast, which includes local, fresh fruits and of course excellent croissants and coffee. The staff (Hi Lorenzo! :)) could not have been nicer and more helpful and the room was cleaned every day impeccably. This is my second stay, and I am def planning to return.

Wouldn't recommend staying here if solo female traveler but that could be the area
