location and staff

The apartment I had was an "ocean view" room and it did not disappoint. Spectacular view from a very spacious balcony and a very spacious apartment. I had a 2-bedroom apartment, which was all they had left when I booked, so it was bigger than I needed, but felt like such a luxurious space with excellent facilities. The location was very close to good restaurants and cafes (definitely visit Cafe Venice on the ground floor outside on Aerodrome Road as they did the best coffee and eggs benny), the beach is about 250m walk and close to Aldi supermarket.

The price goes up quite considerably if you book over the weekend. My apartment ended up having problems with the WIFI connection, which meant the 2 TVs didn't work - which wasn't a big deal for me as I had my laptop and own WIFI, but someone else may have found this annoying. However, when I came back to my room in the evening after being at a conference, they did offer me another room on a different floor to watch TV, but I was too tired to bother so they gave me some lovely bath salts to soak in the spa in my bathroom and a bottle of sparkling and caramel popcorn, which was really nice. Would much rather have been offered a discount but they did try to make it up to me and were very friendly and helpful for the 4 days I was there. So, to be fair, it wasn't something that "ruined" my stay - but like I said, someone else (particularly with kids or sports nuts) may have been annoyed with not having TV to watch in the evening.

the location was great. walking distance to a lot of coffee/chemist/food shops. also super close to the beach and a park perfect for kids.

it was old and run down. very different to the photos. a lot of broken appliances/switches missing. wasn’t cleaned well. for the price, we expected a lot more, more importantly we have stayed at Sebels before because they usually have a high standard, however this has been a disappointing experience, not ideal as it was our honeymoon.

Noise from the road and we were over 8 stories up -- very busy road (with cars hooning around)

The apartment was a really good size, with lots of cupboards etc. Good location.

The only issue was the water pressure in the shower. Some additional balcony furniture would be great.

Great location our unit had wonderful views of the ocean and beach, we were pleasantly surprised with the size of the unit and how well it was appointed

The internet was bad. the carpet needs cleaning. The place wasn't clean for the amount the money you pay. Tv IS so bad You HAVE TO PAY FOR INTERNET , ARE YOU SERIOUS WITH ME? Had to check out early, disappointing
