L'accueil le premier jour.
L'hôtel Ibis Styles est plus proche d'un Ibis Budget. Le premier matin, le dimanche, le petit déjeuner était copieux et varié. Le lendemain, à 09h.00, il restait 2 malheureux croissants, pas de crêpes ni de pains aux raisins.
Par ailleurs, dimanche soir, mon épouse, ayant eu froid dans la journée, a souhaité boire une tisane. Il était indiqué dans la chambre qu'un plateau de courtoisie avec bouilloire etc. était disponible. Il n'y en avait pas. Elle est donc descendue voir la personne à la réception (veilleuse de nuit) qui lui a dit que l'hôtel avait retiré ces plateaux car disparaissant trop vite !?! Devant l'insistance de mon épouse, cette personne (à qui nous venions d'offrir 2 places pour une dégustation de vin) a daigné lui préparer une tasse d'eau chaude avec un sachet de tisane. Lors de notre départ, la personne préposée à l'accueil nous a réclamé le prix de cette tisane, ce que nous avons refusé et qu'elle a parfaitement compris. Nous étions 4 couples d'amis à avoir passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel et nous en sommes tous repartis déçus de notre expérience. Dommage!

Told on arrival that wifi wasn't working in rooms, lift was faulty for our last two days and we were on 4th floor

Good air-conditioning. Quiet room facing the back yard (we don't know about the rooms facing the street). Good location if you want to be near the train station.
OK breakfast, although the staff was absent quite often so refills could take a while. Some of the equipment was broken, so no eggs on our first morning. Hard to work out how to handle the sandwich grill.

Good location with limited parking.
More a budget hotel, in need of some upgrading. Room clean but shabby, bathroom smelt strongly of urine and shower head needed cleaning.

The joining rooms worked really well. It was a short walk into the centre and the breakfast was just what we were after.
It was a shame that you couldn't get to the carpark from the hotel rather than having to go round....

The staff was super helpful and friendly and helped me even to book an hairdresser at short notice. They had good English too. The facilities were essentials and functional. They offer car park for a reasonable price as all car parking in Angers is not free.

Good, clean and quiet. Well located in the center of town near lots of bars and restaurants. Friday nights are lively!
I arrived by motorbike and was told there was no space in the car park. When I looked, I definitely could have fit my motorbike in without it being in the way. Staff could have been more flexible on this but they were very dismissive.
I also noticed that I have been charged twice? I paid the receptionist on leaving but looking at my bank statement I noticed I'd already ben charged the night before?
