Excellent breakfast best we have had during four weeks of travelling around Europe. Room was comfortable and good shower.
Arrived on a Sunday to find the bar and restaurant were closed. Met outside on arrival and shown to our room by someone who unfortunately didn’t speak any English. Had to walk into the village to get a cold drink.

After a long drive from Calais, the hotel was very easy to find off the motorway.
Parking on site. Easy check-in.
Arranged for an evening meal. Hotel was very busy, with a private party occupying the main hall and the restaurant almost full but nevertheless, we had reall good service.
Food was superb - beer went down a treat.
Slept like royalty.
Breakfast was very good. This was a perfec tbreak for us on our long journey south.

Staff was great: a special mention goes to whomever kept a close eye to booking messages while I was running horribly late on the autobahn, and to Pasquale whose friendliness brought a touch of welcoming warmth to an otherwise already good meal.

Silent location, late check in was possible and easily accommodated, super smooth checkin, nice town.

Usually the unsecured room Wifi works without problems in the rooms, and the TV has a more than sufficient number of varied channels. But this time it was impossible to get connected to the outside world (IP address could not be obtained), and only two TV channels were available; the remainder all being encrypted with no way of opening them. Since this was only a one night stay, and since the cell phone allowed a mobile network to be set up for a short information gathering session, we were not really inconvenienced and just let it pass. However, all other was as expected (we have had a one night stay in Hotel Hirt about 20 times before on our way home), especially the excellent food in the restaurant.

I liked everything. The way we were greeted during check-in, the room, the bed, the bar, the bathroom and especially the breakfast. It is amazing!! Just go there and try by yourself. You will not be disappointed!!

It was very clean, and its staff were friendly. Mostly, their resturant was extraordinarily good. Superb food and service.
