A lovely old building in an excellent location. We had a lovely room.
The hotel was a narrow but adequate range on offer at breakfast. If we stayed again, we wouldn't prepay for breakfast at the hotel everyday, but would try a few cafes outside.

Sehr nettes Hotel in extrem zentraler Lage! Alles bequem und fußläufig zu erreichen. Modern und nett renovierte Zimmer, nettes Frühstücksbuffet, sehr gutes Restaurant dabei.

LOCATION and PRICE POINT! There are a few hotels in old town Salzburg. Elefant is on par with the others, but at a cost point that's far cheaper. We love this hotel.
Parking is a challenge, but to be fair, it's a challenge for every hotel in old town Salzburg.

Das Hotel ist sehr alt, aber das Zimmer top modern und sehr ruhig . Haben unsauber ausgeschlafen
Könnte sein es lag an Weihnachtstagen, das Personal war etwas genervt und nicht besonders freundlich

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It is in the heart of the city and in the middle of touristic attractions. Just a few steps away to everything... The breakfast has been below my expectations. I have been expecting some local cheese, butter and honey from a hotel in Salzburg. The room was clean but the furniture was old-fashioned.
The breakfast could be better with some local food.

Location is excellent, placed right in the heart of Salzburg this hotel is perfectly placed to explore the city. The room and Breakfast was great, we will definately be heading back there again.

The location of this hotel is fantastic. We used the free transfer offered by the Hotel and were sceptical that it would work but it did, was really efficient and we were really pleased. On arrival we were able to leave our bags as we were early and when we checked in later they had placed our bags in our room which was much appreciated. The whole hotel is amazingly clean and the breakfast is fantastic. We especially liked that the hotel is quiet which surprised us as it is so central. There is NO traffic noise, you can hear the church/cathedral bells but we liked that. We had a fridge in our room which was great and we could open the window which we liked. Reception staff were REALLY helpful and got us extra pillows and an extra duvet and a kettle - Thank you.
Our room was very small, we didn't mind that but a bigger bed would have been nice as we are both very tall and it was two single beds pushed together rather than a proper King size bed.

Fantastic location right in the heart of the old city. Very comfortable rooms.
Nothing really, except the need to park some distance away and walk with luggages, something we knew about in advance in any case.
