Excellent location, an ideal stop off on our drive to the South of France.

Dirty towels on the floor of our room. The staff corrected this quickly and in compensation waived the car park fee.

Everything was as we wanted, a very comfortable stopover en route south. We were in a building to the side which overlooked an old church and the secure parking area, another plus for us. The decor and all furnishings were of a high standard, the room was small but perfectly fine for a short stay. We tend to like the Mercure brand as the buildings tend to have character, are conveniently situated and always very clean. Nice Nuxe toiletries and a small fridge with water and kettle for drinks added to the experience. Thé breakfast in the dining room looking out to the swimming pool was excellent and good value.

Our room was quite small but to be fair this was compensated for by having a separate toilet and quite spacious shower room. Perhaps proper glasses instead of paper cups in the bathroom could be safely provided?

The air conditioning didn't work for one day and night. There was also a mix up with regard to the booking. The receptionist insisted that I had booked two rooms and I know I only booked one !

No dinner facilities except for very limited room service. But this was probably because of staff shortages so soon after end of Covid restrictions.

Everything was fine... a good well-maintained but generously 'old-fashioned' hotel - better than some modern horror! The breakfast was superb. But the only thing which was sad is that the hotel no longer has a restaurant - and to arrive on a Sunday means that everything in the town was closed! However, the staff were happy to mark maps with catering establishments etc. The very good restaurant in the town is the opposite the station: Restaurant de la Gare.

Aircon didn’t work. Poor ventilation. Having booked a superior room for 3 days the room/view from the room didn’t seem very good compared to others we saw, which seemed to be empty during our stay.

The hot stone massage was nice, but the spa was closed so I wasn't able to enjoy fully. The breakfast buffet was nice.

The hotel was empty but they put me in a room right by the air conditioning / heating unit. I got really hot in the night so had to open the window and it was really loud. I also ordered room service and was disappointed to receive the advertised 3 course meal delivered in jars...maybe it was lost in translation.

I marked it down on facilities as the bath room was small.

Staff was very accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was great and location was terrific.

Bed could have been more comfortable.

Fantastic spacious and historical room, great location, and helpful that dogs were allowed in the hotel. We enjoyed the pool as it was a heatwave.

The bar by the pool wasn't very well staffed or stocked.
