centrally located. nice hotel with a large swimming pool

The bed was very comfortable after all three hard nedd in the rest of South America. Staff were very helpful to organize a private tour on the Amazon, at short notice. Breakfast was good and the lunch and dinner were also good.

Water bottles not replaced daily.

the only problem is that the pool is super over chlorinated- to the point where my eyes stung for a day and they were temporarily cloudy which was scary. please fix that.

Nice facility, clean and quiet, plus had CNN in English, nice.

I think because you go through booking.com they give you the rooms that are noisy. When requesting a room on the other side they tell you that they are full. Also the restaurant food was not really very good. So ate at the local restaurants. Other than that very nice.

The friendly greeting by the guys at Reception every time we approached them. The wonderful cleaning lady who took care of our room. The location is great, the best in town with the main city Plaza immediately in front and restaurants overlooking the river front within a 4 minute walk. Keeping in mind the rest of town is grubby, sidewalks are mostly atrocious and ladies, if youre looking for shops, this is not the town for that. Walking into this hotel is like entering a tiny haven of civilization. The fairly large pool and tiny gym and spa area are also very clean and comfortable.

There wasn't anything we didn't like about thus hotel, well worth the money.

as per other hotels we’ve been too in Peru all around, high price for what you get. rooms, facilities and so on are good but nothing crazy. basically the only highlight that could make it that price is the location in plaza de armas, but still seems a bit too much.

Perfect location and great views of the square from the large bedroom window. Food was very good and staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms were not sound proofed, WiFi was very bad and didn’t work properly in the room.

internet doesn’t work they said was whole city issues but we change to other hotel where that service was normal

Undortunately,I wasn’t impressed by this hotel or its staff at all.Maybe because I’m from Europe and we get completely different expectation regarding Hilton Hotels.Maybe because I was working for Hilton company in London and I know how we trained staff.With deep regret I must say that staff in Hilton Iquitos was rather puzzled than ready to help with the smallest issues like money change,help with restaurant menu or taxis…I was furious how hopless these people are.The rooms need a serious refurbishment (old carpet,grey bed linen) the smell inside was terrible and I’m glad I’ve spent there only 2 nights.The air freshner inside the room could not kill that horrible smell.The swimming pool was dirty with loads of insects inside.Loud music in the lobby is killing the ears.The staff didn’t speak English or pretend do not to speak ..that’s still the mystery to me.On my departure they didn’t even asked me about my stay…How predictable!The girl in the reception was panicking when I’ve asked her for taxi into the airport at 7:00am..she said I need to book taxi well in advance.It was a hell of a stay for gringo who came all the way there from London.

We enjoyed our short time here after trip on the Amazon. Very clean. Lots of variety of places to eat and reasonably priced.

Pool was more for work outs, not great for leisure traveller. Long ways from airport.

i liked the food options. i liked the internet speed. i liked my final room which overlooked the city and had a nice tub and was clean and didn’t have as many carpets. i liked the idea of the pool although it was small and raining when I was there so didn’t use it

I sat on one of the arm chairs in my room to do some work on the 3rd floor and when I got to my bed to take a nap noticed my arms were covered with fast moving tiny black or brown bugs (was hard to see). then I saw them on my bed (I could have brought them from the chair) then all over my nightstand then on my shoes and the luggage stand…. I immediately asked for help bagging my things (which they did), laundering all my things (which they did), and moving rooms. they tried to move me 3 doors down but I asked for another floor and there didn’t seem to be bugs there. the transition was not as smooth or automatic as I would have hoped but the staff were friendly/kind. for the price paid however and the quality expected with the Hilton this was not acceptable. frankly instead of exploring Iquitos I spent my morning and evening cleaning and organizing my things, washing myself of bugs, and frantically trying to ensure I didn’t take them to my next destination. for this I think my room should have been comped vs just an upgrade.
