Very nice surroundings and stunning view of the bay from the dining hall.
Unfortunately woken up at 6.30 on the 1st morning by what sounded like a barrel delivery, 2nd morning woken up at 7 by a reversing lorry and 7.15 on third morning by bottles being thrown into the back of a dustbin lorry.

Nothing!
booked a room to stay via Booking.com app. On St Brides’ description it states all rooms are owned by them and are all given access to all hotel and spa facilities. When booking we chose a 1 bed apartment called ‘St Brides Apartments’.
This is located at the very bottom of a large steep hill which gave no warning for couples with disabilities or health conditions.
When we arrived our apartment was filled full of smoke with all windows open and pillows thrown on the floor! The smell of weed was lingering around the apartment and made my partner feel very uneasy. I spoke to the hotel about this and they assured me the apartment had be cleaned. The main reason we booked this ‘APARTMENT HOTEL’ was for the spa access. We paid over £200 per night for our stay to then be told we would have to book and pay extra for the spa.
I rang prior to even arriving to check this and was told by hotel staff on the phone TWICE that we wouldn’t have to pay the extra £35 spa entry. This would be because it was the COMPANY fault for writing ‘ALL RATES INCLUDE A 90 MINUTE THERMAL SUITE AND HYDROTHERAPY POOL SESSION PER PERSON PER NIGHT’. I still decided to ring and book a slot as I was advised to due to busy periods.
We then arrived to the hotel and was told this was all incorrect and a mistake and we would have to pay £70 to even gain access into the spa.
I showed the company policies and screenshots which I added below and was told I’m ‘incorrect’ and there was ‘nothing’ anyone can do. We left and did not pay or get to use any facilities. Our trip was very expensive and ruined. I booked this for our anniversary to celebrate in a spa and hotel and nothing went to plan. The staff were rude and the rooms were dirty. Anything you eat/drink/use needs to be paid for. There are no complimentary services or even a salt and pepper shaker in the apartment cupboards.
I am so disappointed with our experience and so upset that our anniversary was ruined by this terrible experience.

Rooms were immaculate and had everything you needed. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The spa is an amazing area to wind down, the views from the infinity pool were amazing.
Dinner at the restaurant was very small in portion and quite expensive. Service a little slow however the staff were apologetic and friendly.

Bedroom was fantastic for size and view, hotel lay out was very good and Spa excellent.
Food was not to a good standard tried Lobster bar and that was very average, Breakfast was poor overcooked and Poached eggs hard also could of been a better cold selection.
Evening meal was small portions very average.

All was good, but the staff were exemplary. Always a smile and a greeting.
Maybe a larger pool in the Spa, but now I’m being picky!😀

The beds were comfortable. The private decking outside the room. The spa was amazing and the treatments we had were so relaxing.
No air conditioning in the room and for a 4 star hotel you would at least expect a Smart TV. Even Premier Inn rooms have Smart TVs as standard.

We enjoyed the spa although it was at times too many people in there. The food and staff were good.Although the food was very expensive. The location is good but appears to need some renovation,I have stayed at the property for many years and nothing has changed.
My room wasn't cleaned my whole stay. For the price I didn't even get a nice comfortable double bed it was 2 single beds joined together and pillows were poor and the bed very uncomfortable.

Fantastic views, nice big room, very comfortable bed, lovely staff, good breakfast. Lots of thoughtful extras like the huge DVD list you can borrow for free to watch in your room, and fresh milk provided for coffee or tea in the room fridge. Really nice restaurant with a beautiful ambiance and good food, as well as excellent coffee at breakfast. Altogether a special place!
Sometimes we could hear the guests in other rooms quite clearly when in our room, but this never ended up being a problem that disturbed us — it could do, though, if you had particularly loud neighbours. The spa pool is tiny and you’ll share it with quite a few other people, so it’s just a relaxing place to enjoy the view, but definitely not suitable for actual swimming.

Nothing outstanding, general vibe was nice but not memorable, staff tried hard but most genuine person was the waitress at breakfast
Spa wasn’t sold very well, upselling of the restaurant, timing for meals appeared to be very strictly applied with limited flexibility
