The food was very good at both dinner and breakfast. The views of the lake are beautiful. All members of staff we met were helpful, efficient and friendly.

The price of the wines on offer was shockingly expensive. I don't know who you think you're catering for but I'd expect luxury bedrooms and a far more glamorous dining room at a venue charging those prices for wines. The bedroom was small with no hanging space for clothes, the bathroom very basic. Our first rom hadn't even been cleaned, the bed was un-made and dirty wine glasses were left behind. we had to be moved to a room which had been cleaned (the original room was not big enough for 2 people anyway, very small indeed).

The service was very slow, every day they didn’t have enough staff working to handle the guests. as an example we waited 30 mins to get a drink at the bar with staff clocking us and walking past 4 times as they were so busy. Beds very very firm

I found surprising that there weren't regular milk (It only was oat milk) and not O'boy, so what could have been a perfect stay, was just good because of that breakfast thing. The place, instalations and room were super cozy and beautiful.

You sit there, read a good book or work quietly, it's royal ! The little paths around the hotel are lovely real quiet room and the great thing is that there is no air conditioning, you can open the windows as you like! (much better for your health and the environment)...Very nice velvet armchair in the room. Very friendly and attentive staff Excellent restaurant with excellent wines (congratulations to the chef! and his vegetable garden is really great ! Congratulations also to the sommelier who is a fine connoisseur of French wines)

Even though the view of the lake is magnificent, it must be said that it is somewhat spoiled by the incessant noise of the motorway in front of the hotel, which means that you don't feel quite in the middle of nature (but it's a lovely break before flying again). On the website it is 7km far from the Airport but in fact it is about more than 20 km because the road is not straight. We paid 520 SEK for the taxi to the airport (50 euros)...and no public transport indicated although I suspect there must be buses from the next village A little bit disappointed by the outdoor hot baths that are not jacusi (no bubbles)....That said, it's a nice moment to splash around in warm water in front of the lake, which is much colder. There is a small cabin attached with a sauna (but I don't like saunas) No kettle, no coffee, tea..in the rooms no cupboard to put things in, just 3 hangers on a peg the shower cubicle is really small (and the shower hose was leaking)

The hotel is located in front of a beautiful lake. The place is stunning! The room is very comfortable, and the breakfast is amazing!

It does not have a beachfront or a terrace for sunbathing (as mentioned in the ad), or anything related to this/or similar to it. We tried to find a place to lie down and relax in the sun, but it doesn't have. A wedding was taking place on the same day, so maybe that's why we couldn't find any of these resources. But even the next day, we didn't see any locations as mentioned.

It's a beautiful hotel with amazing surroundings, aswell as  incredible views, rooms were adequate however a little small and poorly lit, but staying in your room, at such a beautiful hotel, would be a shame anyway. The bed was a little uncomfortable, and the road on the way to the hotel felt almost down right dangerous. So in general the stay was good, until checkout, where it seems there has been a discrepancy between the booking and the hotel, as they charged us for the crib for our child, which was stated as free on the booking, which was particularly disappointing but especially as it's the last thing to remember we will remember about our stay.

Staff was very friendly, food was delicious and view was excellent.

Very nice views. At first I was skeptical to the "breakfast tray" but once it was served, it was excellent! The bed was comfortable. Very clean and well kept. Super-cosy with a fire burning outside the reception upon arrival.

The room was a little cold. No heated floor in the bathroom unfortunately.

The restaurant is excellent! Fabulous food (we had the tasting menu) and we had the better of the two choices of wines to accompany each course. Wonderful. A special mention to Douglas who was our waiter and sommelier for the evening even though I believe he's usually the wine buyer. It would be hard to find someone more knowledgeable regarding the wines being served, and we tried wines that wouldn't normally be on our radar! The location is very peaceful too and I could imagine in the summer sitting on the (very large) outside deck would be quite idyllic. Contrary to other reviews we found the breakfast good too. A good selection, with very nice home baked breads. A final mention to the staff; without exception they were friendly and helpful.

The rooms, while spotlessly clean, were small. No room to put a large suitcase if you were travelling with much luggage. Thankfully we weren't but even 2 smaller cases meant you were tripping over them. And the bed us up against a wall so you'd better hope you don't both need to get up in the night! A minor complaint though and we would happily stay here again, and I expect we will :-)

It was a nice place for winter/Christmas atmosphere. Really appreciated on 5th December. Fantastic Christmas cuisine (julbord) and really nice breakfast with a big variety.

The receptionist was less kind compared to the other staff. Moreover, there was a mistake for our bill. Somebody used maybe our room number to add their restaurant's bill and the next day we were asked to pay 150 euros extra. I showed my credit card's online payment but this wasn't enough for the receptionist to realize that it was two different tables at the restaurant yesterday. Fortunately I had the receipt and after 15 minutes waiting and apologizing they realized that I had right. But then again this wasn't enough for the receptionist to say a sorry and change attitude but she would double check and bla bla bla. They should have control over the name of the guest who pays with a room number.

Cleaning in the bedroom

The whole complex is nicely decorated and offers a pleasant atmosphere, the rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast was good (when the food we wanted to have was available).

The rooms are simply furnished, a kettle would be an asset. The service was unfortunately very poor in our case. There was a problem between the hotel and the booking system. This problem was blamed on us at the beginning and we had to make sure by ourselves that there was communication between Booking and the hotel. Even after Booking-Support gave the information on the phone that the problem was not with us we could not check in. We were made to wait a total of 90 minutes in front of the front desk and then told to check in just with a "sorry". From a 4-star hotel I expect that technical problems do not have to be solved by the guest and that they are furthermore kept away from the guest. During breakfast many dishes were not available for a long time, for example we waited 15 minutes for scrambled eggs or buns.

Nice walk along the lake, room was very small with no view and the only window in the room was in front of a footpath.

Difficulty checking in, there was no one at reception so the waiter had to hand us our key.
