Staffs(specially in the restaurant) are friendly and have serviced-mind.
We booked the room type "Corner Suite" on Booking.com but when we checked in we got to stay in "Panorama business room" which is cheaper and abit different such as smaller sofa and there's no dining table and it's not what we have expected.
The reception said that it's Booking.com's failure that has wrong photos and wrong room type.
We don't really care whose failure but we booked the room from the photos we saw and the description we read.
And for the Panorama business room that we stayed, for me its not worth for almost 5200 SEK that we have paid. There're just shampoo, body lotion and shower gel for amenities in bathroom. I think they should have a shower cap and cotton buds as well.
And Minibar was not included in the room price like it shows on my booking information.
Plus the paid parking in their garage for 200 NOK which was very small and not easy to park.

The Thon Hotel Svolvaer is perfectly located right on the water in Svolvaer, close to the hurtigruten quay, the city centre, and lovely boardwalk cafes. There is underground parking as well, and despite arriving early, the staff allowed us to park in our stall. The breakfast buffet was outstanding and offered a huge variety of food choices.

It’s right where the passenger ferry embankment is. Breakfast was very good except the coffee machine were broken and the coffee was very weak. Staff during check in were very friendly. They tried to do their best to give us an upgrade to a better room.
The room was on the side of the pub so there was very loud noises from people talking the whole night even though our room was on the 4th floor. My husband couldn’t sleep much at all. The curtains are not preventing the sun light to get in the room. The room had no AC so it was quite warm and was difficult to sleep.

Everything was just fantastic! The staff were super friendly and helpful. The location was in the town centre and right next to the harbour, which I had stunning view of from my room. The food at the restaurant was delicious - the breakfast buffet was so diverse and was pleasantly accompanied by a live performance by a pianist, and the meal options for dinner were cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Lofoten!
A really minor issue - the underground car park was a bit squishy.

I tend to stay at moderately priced hotels, and this one was at the upper end for me, but the accommodations, staff, and breakfast were all so good, I was happy to pay a little more. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever eaten -- an almost endless buffet of fine foods. Everything was first-class. Checking in, I accidentally left my stocking cap on the counter, and afterward I worried that I had lost it and would have to buy a new one. But the next morning, checking out, I saw that the staff had set it aside behind the reception desk; I was happy to get it back, and grateful to the staff for saving it. Thank you!

The Hotel deserves the stars it has. luxurious, clean. The room is comfortable, clean, the room service is very good, towels are changed every day, the room is always clean and smell good. The location of the hotel is very good, close to all the restaurants and important places in the small town. The room is large with a sea view. The staff is very friendly and respectful. The Breakfast is good, I enjoy the Natural Orange Juice especially because it is not a native product of the country, so they take the trouble to import it so that guests can enjoy it. Another thing to note is that there is a wide variety of breakfast products, very varied and that is very nice.
There really is nothing I can say bad about the hotel. I can't say it's perfect, but personally. I really enjoyed my stay. excellent service.

Breakfast was the best and most varied I’ve had in a hotel. Staff were great, giving us a late checkout when our missing luggage arrived just as we were due to check out at midday. The view from the Superior room facing the town, harbour and mountains was amazing!
TVs with options to sign into Netflix, Disney etc would have been nice, plus a sauna / hot tub at the hotel

The location was in the center of Svolvær. Next to the harbor. Spacious room with great sea view. Breakfast was nice. Friendly staffs.

Lovely room and very clean with a nice modern design. The breakfast was good.
They gave us a seaview room on the 5th floor. But there is harldy any sea to see since you look onto a roof. When we arrived we asked if there was somewhere we could do to eat. They told us to go to the gas station to get a hotdog. At night they only sold overpriced probably frozen pizza at the pub. Since my partner has a gluten allergie, we did not have dinner but a bag of crisps, when you have a restaurant on site and clients come in you should be able to offer something.
