The best food you can have in Albena all inclusive system. Good sleep - comfortable rooms, well insulated. Silent hours after 23 o clock. Nice swimming pools.

Great location, varied food, helpful staff. The room had a great view o the sea and part of the town (though, you couldn't watch the sunrise from the balcony). Beautiful beach, fine sand and plenty of chaiselongs - on the beach as well as at the pools.

Nothing too annoying... The cleaning lady would usually come in the resting hours, so we kind of skipped the cleaning for the whole week (except from the thrash, that was collected). But that didn't ruin our vacation mood anyway. Another thing - last year, when we also spent our holiday at Kaliakra, we had a larger room. This one, situated in the tower of the hotel, though it had the same type of beds, was smaller. For 2 adults and 2 kids it was quite crowdy... But good for resting, anyway! Also, you could improve the recipes of the cakes - they are very good looking and colorful, but too sweet and no big difference between the tastes... ;)

As a whole it was a wonderful stay. I liked the attitude, the location close to the sea, the view on the sea.

At moments it was not so quiet from animation activities but it was also related to the noise from the other hotel which was close to ours and from other places.

The location is the best - right on the beach.

I am going to begin with the fact this hotel is not 4 stars. Rooms are small for a family of 4.  For 2-3 people are fine. They were regularly cleaned and supplied. The food was delicious but lacked variety. The restaraunt was very busy and often lines were formed. The personnel barely managed to clean the tables so I had to help if I wanted my family to seat on a clean table. There were 3 pools we could use. They were clean but there were some broken tiles around so we had to watch where we step. Customer service was fair to bad at times.

It is a good stay in Albena, very well situated in front of the beach. The room was clean (I disinfected the surfaces myself and there was no trace of dirt) and the maids came to clean up every day and make the beds. Food is also good, although many people, it was always supplemented - the difference between the 3* hotels in Albena in terms of dishes, was that we had pain au chocolat and croissants at breakfast, quite good coffee and frappes, cheesecakes in dessert and mussels/grilled fish/shrimps/duck roast for lunch/dinner. Free bottles of water every day are available for tourists. Also mini-bar in the room is free. They have 3 pools and a very cozy garden where you can eat peacefully and at distance from other tourists and 2 bars, open by midnight with coffee, juices and cocktails which are ok. Staff is polite and very helpful. Over all, the stay was good, but there are improvements to be made - it's not a 4* stay, it is the same mass tourism as in the rest of the hotels in Albena, the only difference is in some of the dishes served at the restaurant.

There are no measures implemented anti-Covid, except for the disinfectants in the hotel and restaurant. Nobody wears masks in the restaurant, apart from staff, although there are posters saying it is mandatory. There were people actually coughing on the food while waiting in the queues. This should not be accepted by authorities, because it can easily become a source of infection, as no distance is kept in the restaurant or hotel and no masks worn. Spider webs in the room, although everything else was clean. Rooms have an oldish appearance, and for that reason I would say the price I paid was overpriced - for instance, Kaliakra Mare has more modern rooms. Very crowded restaurant, not enough space and tables (distancing is not even possible..), so we ended up eating in the garden which was the best option. Tables are not cleaned in the garden, they are mostly dirty and plates are not removed. Same old problem in the beach - almost all sunbeds are reserved by 10 a.m. with towels, although some people never come to occupy them. Just like in the case of masks, no staff intervenes in this issue, I guess it's for not upsetting customers, but for a 4* hotel, this is not acceptable. Shower gels were not replaced during our 8-day stay.

We had a very nice room, at 10th floor, with a great sea view (though, couldn’t see the sun rising from the water, because of the tower that was part of the hotel). One double bed, one sofa and one single bed, enough for 2 adults and 2 children. Food was good and plenty, partly already cooked and arranged when people started coming in the restaurant, partly made in front of the tourists (but for the latter you have to wait a while). Also, in the most crowded hours, you have to be a good hunter to find a table. ☺️ But it’s fine, the “hunting” doesn’t take too long. Food is brought in and refilled several times while the eating hours last, so don’t worry if you don’t show up as soon as the restaurant opens. The staff is nice, maybe a bit overwhelmed while the most crowded hours… They don’t all speak English, but somehow you can make yourself understood. The chaises-longues on the beach were enough for everyone, even if the good places were taken from very early in the morning… very fine sand and nice entrance in the sea, the water grows gradually, so you can swim wherever you feel comfortable. The pools are clean and quite big. The water in the kids pool is always colder than in the adults one, I don’t know why… The surroundings are also full of possibilities - we would go for long walks with the kids in the evenings, either in the fun park just by the hotel, either by the beach. You also have a supermarket very close to the hotel, as well as souvenirs shops.

If you are the caviler kind of person, always looking for perfection and searching for things to reproach, you may find a few. We prefer to keep our vacation mood, so we had a great time at Kaliakra Beach hotel. Hope to go back someday! 🥰🤗
