The breakfasts had everything you need for the whole day, the staff extremely nice, the room was specious and had an AC and the location was very pretty and in the middle of the region.

-There was no one to greet us, weird key situation -no coffee, water or any drinks -overpriced -tv didn’t work -no explanation of anything

The breakfast is too expensive, in our opinion it does not worth what it costs.

The surrounding of the hotel was amazing, just like in the photos - in the middle of the vineyard. Hotel is new (or renovated), but kept authentic styling. Staff was very friendly, and the waiter's Italian manners was astonishing - we felt like a very important person. Restaurant was working until late and served us fast.

There was no shampoo, soap, and hairdryer in our room. We have not asked for it explicitly, but this should be included without requesting.

Good sized, comfy room. Very convenient location (we were driving from Italy up through France). Big choice of tasty breakfast foods. Dinner was also tasty but pricey.

Dinner was expensive (CHF8 for a bottle of water!). Also breakfast was extra (CHF20 per person) and a charge of CHF40 was made for our two dogs. There was also a misunderstanding over paying for the extras as when we checked out the only person there was the lady serving breakfasts who had never used a credit card machine. None of this ruined our stay however, and whilst we probably wouldn’t return, it was a pleasant stop off on our journey.

during my visit (Jun 2022) this hotel does not have wifi .. communicate before you book and ensure that host confirm that wifi is available in ur selected room.. we had 3 rooms non had wifi

Room lools cozy but was cold and noisy from some machinery. Late in the night it was ok. There is a roof window to see the stars - just sad that in the yard is so much light pollution.

It was not possible to get the promised Ticino Ticket. But it was probably not the hotels fault.

It was great to be up graded. The view is also outstanding.

It is a wineyard but on Sunday and Monday you can't have dinner OR buy wine. So strange...And was not mentioned online before. Poor.

The property is beautiful and the room was great as well.

We were disappointed that they didn't let us try the wines (had to have 6 people) .The main reason we went to stay there was to try the wines and tour the vineyard. With the price of the room which was not cheap I thought they would want to show us around. It was beautiful but not very friendly feeling once we were there.

The room was large, clean and comfortable. The hotel is situated in a small vineyard.

Our weekend with friends was ruined. We booked two rooms so that we could relax and spend maximum time together. When we got to the hotel the receptionist told us that there was only one room! She said that she had "not noticed" that we had booked two rooms and also "not noticed" that the price was double the usual rate for one room. She showed me her printout and it clearly showed "2 units" and a total price of 784CHF. Yet she denied this evidence by claiming that she hadn't noticed it! She had obviously double booked the room and this was evident from her defensive, unfriendly attitude and her complete lack of remorse. She telephoned another hotel and found a room for my friends 5 minutes drive away. But this meant that we had to go out to dinner and could not have a drink together as we had to drive to other restaurants then drive back to separate hotels. She also demanded that I pay upfront and not upon checkout as is usual. I asked her if she could give me a discount because of her "mistake" - she did not - she just gave me some bland excuses. I waited until my friends called to say that they were happy with the other hotel then reluctantly paid as it was 22:00 and we had no other choice. The first rule of hotel-keeping must surely be "No. of rooms + No. of nights = price". Yet for a hotelier to claim that she had "not noticed" any of these things is insultingly implausible. Not once during our 2 nights at this hotel did she come and apologise. Not once did she think of offering us a free bottle of wine or a breakfast as a gesture of recompense. So thanks for the ruined weekend Fattoria l'Amorosa!

Very close to the house, car and people (actually even during outside breakfast) the local wine farmer was splashing plant protection/ pesticide on the wine grapes ruthlessly. Even after claiming, did continue. Not acceptable.

The not "home made" breakfast

We stayed in the Isabella Suite, which was actually a quaint and comfortable two-and-a-half-story cottage nestled in the vineyards. The main bedroom was on the bottom floor (nominally the basement, but actually more like a ground floor due to the location on the hill). The bottom floor also contained the luxurious bathroom, which had the most amazing, huge built-in stone bath. The middle (main) floor was a living room. The additional sleeping area where our two teenage daughters slept was in a little loft accessible via steps from the main floor. We ate both breakfast and dinner at the hotel both nights that we stayed, as other restaurants in the area were still closed due to corona restrictions. The dinner menu was the same both nights, but included enough options that we did not get tired of it. The food was excellent, particularly the pasta and risotto (we tried all four of the pasta and risotto options and were disappointed in none of them) as well as the roast chicken with estragon sauce. We also very much enjoyed the wines from their own vineyards and the region nearby. In short everything was wonderful. Beautiful, quiet location. Excellent food and wine in the restaurant. Friendly staff. We would gladly come back again.

Hard to complain, everything was so nice. Perhaps one minor point was that while the Isabella Suite was described in Booking.com as having 1 double bed + 2 singles, the 2 singles were actually connected, with shared bedding, so it was essentially another double bed. The loft area where this second double bed is located was a bit dark, as there is no window in the loft. Our kids still liked it a lot, however, and said the bed was very comfortable. It was also a bit confusing that even though the suite was clearly big enough for 4 people, Booking.com had it for some reason classified as being for only 2 people. We confirmed with the hotel via telephone that it was fine for the 4 of us to stay there. The only difference regarding the number of people was the cost of breakfast, which was not included in the Booking.com price anyway. In the end, everything turned out great, and we felt the price to be quite reasonable even after inclusion of breakfast.

Everything: Spacious, comfortable and charming bedroom with small balcony over the wineyards. Nice countryside location close to Bellinzona. Great food at the restaurant, reasonable prices and nice staff!
