The hotel is centrally located which is good. The room was clean and was also kept clean after each day we used it as cleaners cleaned the room everyday. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. Good little hotel to stay if especially with kids as it’s not rowdy or even too busy. It’s good value for money I’d say. I also made a special request for my room which was a request most hotels don’t do and this hotel also didn’t do generally however when I arrived the request was fulfilled and I was so surprised because they had said they wasn’t sure they’d be able to do it but would put the request on the system and see. I was so plenty surprised with their extra effort!

The parking situation. Where the hotel is located is amongst loads of pay and display streets which is fine as the hourly rate is not heavy, however the hotel has its own car park which is perfect because of course as a guest you’d rather park on site than to park a few streets away however the day rate is expensive. We found it cheaper to park on streets away from the hotel as we were constantly going out in the car anyway so it didn’t cost us half as much to park on the street than it would have to park in the car park. However this is not something that would deter us from staying again.

Corridors a bit dour and the toilet separate to the bathroom was a bit like something I'd expect in a prison. But these are tiny things for a wonderful time spent in Birmingham.

This hotel was generally good but really let themselves down with the cleaning and then not fixing the issue when we raised it

After we checked in, we realised that the bedsheets had a red sticky substance on it. The sheets had not been changed. We brought this to the attention of reception there and then who said they would bring up clean bedding but they never did. We got in late and ended up sleeping on top of the duvet that looked a bit cleaner

I booked and paid for 3 rooms, 412, 414 and the one I stayed in 416. I have already issued a survey but to remind you, light from the corridor passing through the perimeter of the room door/frame, plunger in the showroom basin faulty and worst of all a member of of the room cleaning staff entered my room as I was beginning to get dressed at just after 10.00am ... 2 hours before my departure time set by the hotel. I reported these issues to the desk management. All of the reception staff were excellent but concerned someone had access to my room 2 hours early!!

Location was fab, staff were brilliant and gave good information, room was spotless and huge, looked even better than pictures, beds were comfy

Rooms definitely need AC. Room service menu and breakfast could do with variety. Very noisy but that's to be expected being in the city centre.
