Lovely place, stuff are always nice and friendly. The rooms are comfortable, clean and nice. The breakfast is with large selection and they can prepare the own needs. Basement parking garage, City center, Lake view.
There is no elevator from the basement, only in the hotel.

Warm and welcoming. Good location close to station and ferry port. Excellent breakfast. Clean and comfortable.
A little dated but part of its charm. Think mid century Barbie decor!

Very helpful staff.
Close to all amenities in Rorschach.
Having lived in Rorschacherberg for 14 years we new the area very well.
Our dog also had a great time travelling with us.
Only problem is we are now back in Scotland and the weather is much colder!

-We had a very nice lake view (It is worth the extra 20chf/night imo).
-Hotel has its own garage, which is a huge plus for people with cars (it is somewhat tight, like most such garages in CH).
-Breakfast was good, but not spectacular. Seeing the reviews we were expecting a bit more...
-Room was comfy, although it was starting to show its age.
-Wifi was really good.
-Lake view means you are literally next to the train tracks! Which means a train passes by every 10-15min. So, not good for the light sleepers.
-You have to book in advance for breakfast in the main room, otherwise you have to go to the further small dining room.
-Swiss prices...

Breakfast was good
The décor is tired and tiles in the bathroom are broken but everything was clean. Bikes had to be left in a public car park rather than a locked space.

The room was very comfortable, although no tea making facility. The food was outstanding, and never over priced. The location is right at the station and the harbour, but not noisy.
Happy with everything - would certainly go back.

Lovely internal garden. Very good breakfast. We loved dinners at the hotel restaurant - food very tasty, nicely presented.

Friendly & helpful staff. Provided high quality gluten free breads. Chef prepared fish very well--tender & savory. Tea terrace is restful & lovely garden setting. View of sea from room.

The place as a whole.
Nice cosy stay in arm's reach from the lake.
Generous breakfeast buffet. Nice garden terrasse in 1st floor with warm fliwer decoration, mainly hortensia and lots of green leaves. There is a train track between lake and hotel but this did not present any audible nuisance during the night. Should I come back to this area I would not hesitare to book there again. Only little deceptiion, no tune of Mozart to be heard...

People are freandly, kind. There was very clean and comfortable bed.
