Das Haus war sehr authentisch für diese Gegend. Es lag sehr ruhig und der Blick auf das Meer war mega schön. Es war mit allem ausgestattet was wir brauchten und es gab sogar ein kleines Willkommenspaket mit Brot, Butter, Kaffee und Tee.
Es könnte an der ein oder anderen Stelle ein bisschen sauberer sein. Zum Beispiel müssten die Toilettenbürsten mal ausgetauscht werden.
Im Außenbereich gab es Sitz- und Liegemöglichkeiten, aber leider keine Auflagen dazu, damit es bequemer ist.

If you want to experience a traditional set up and go to sleep to the sound of the ocean this place is for you! We really enjoyed our stay there. The house is quite small but cute. The view from the little terrasse is awesome!
It is a bit remote from the main towns and it’s not very modern but it has its charm.
The property has 2 single beds (which we didn’t notice when we booked) so my partner and I slept in separate beds during our stay.

Original quiet accommodation in a suitable location for us (with car).
Very good friendly communication; perfect process. Everything needed in the house; even bread, coffee, jam on arrival. Great restaurants nearby.
The ground floor/bathroom was quite damp and a bit musty.

You are in your own private cottage with a bedroom, bathroom, dining room, full kitchen and washer machine. Outside you have a beautiful patio with amazing views overlooking the ocean and a wood fire bbq grill. They have multiple cottages, some by the waterfront and some in the hills so make sure to book the one that fits your wishes.
The host/receptionist is very friendly, super responsive through calls and Whatsapp. She was very timely, professional and super honest. 10/10

A beautiful stone cottage with fabulous views looking out to sea with mountains behind. Very spacious and comfortable with character. Great customer service - good information on the cottage, local area and recommendations of where to eat etc. Responsive to our queries. A welcome basket of coffee/ local specialities very nice.
No wifi but we did know that before we came. We could use their wifi in the reception office for free but that is a 5 minute drive by car.

House extremely humid, impossible to dry clothes, cold house, uncomfortable beds, bathroom was not great

Beautiful traditional villa with a stunning view to the ocean. Located near the city center. Fully equipped.
Nice welcoming with some of the typical Azorean products. The staff is helpful and present.
In the shower there was hair and empty shampoo bottles from the previous guest.

It was a really lovely place with great support to plan our trips around Pico. The appartement was well located if you like great views. Overall a great experice in Pico.

The was really tidy and clean with a good facilities and overall well decorated.
All the equipment was working properly.
Our host, Carolina was excellent helping us with everything!
We didn't have WIFI on our house (it was available on the reception), a non issue for us.

Fantastic roomy house, comfortable beds AND pillows, with a bathroom for each bedroom. Plenty of bath towels, tea towels also provided. We had tea and coffee for us to use, and our very nice host had bought us a tasty brioche for breakfast. Which we completed with puffed pastries from the bakery in Prainha, open on Sundays.
The house is also very close to a great little restaurant, Adega Açoriana, well above Casa Ancora as far as we could judge. Nice swimming spot next to Adega Açoriana.
