The Riverstone is Canterbury's only 5-star motel (awarded by Qualmark - the official NZ tourism quality assurance organisation). All accommodation is ensuite and we are only 20 minutes' drive from Christchurch Airport.

Owners were so friendly. Spa bath was wonderful. Kitchen was well equipped. Had everything we needed.

The owners, Mike and Charlotte, were fantastic. We had good comms from the start as we didn't arrive till 2 days after the booking..Nothing was a problem for them and they were so flexible. They are a credit to their business. I just wished I could have stayed longer it was fabulously clean and in an excellent location. I would thoroughly recommend staying here if you are in this area.
Thank you for making our stay very comfortable , and I hope to see you again next year.

The extra touches at the motel, bath salts, extra towels, lovely selection of shampoos etc. The owner went out of her way and asked if we would like the couch bed made up for one of our sons. Very obliging.

Access to the property was hard to see on a very busy main road.
