Nice hotel and nice rooms and staff

Pool was small

Lovely shower pressure. Good wifi. Excellent service. Clean. Lobby lovely. Breakfast good. Room service good. Iron and hair net in rooms

Heating didn’t work (gave us space heater). No bathtub (as specifically mentioned on booking.com). Rooms not soundproof. Gave us an “accessible” room. Mattresses lumpy. TV options limited & not smart TV.

The staff were EXCELLENT. Lovely venue for a winter wedding in terms of its a nice relaxed space and beautifully set up. The staff were great and the food delicious at the wedding. Bar was expertly staffed and everyone was very friendly. Recommend for events or for spa / pool area. However, no longer my first choice in Naas. Too many big things did not go smoothly. Starting with the heating!

I really wanted to enjoy my stay -- but the hotel is aging and not in good condition. I was attending a wedding and dislike complaining. Unfortunately, the HEATING didn't work in our room (in December!). I was travelling with my 78 year old mother...and she was freezing. The duvet was thin and they didn't have any extra. After 3 complaints, two staff "checking" to confirm it wasn't working -- several hours later they brought us a space heater. I also managed to turn on the radiator in the bathroom manually. The next day, I asked to speak to a manager. She sent two men to fix it and they told me there wasn't an issue -- it is centrally controlled and timer must have been wrong? Manager promised a 30% discount but told junior staff to follow up. They wanted me to write ALL my credit card details (including CVS code) on a piece of paper (no thanks). Our key cards got deactivated. Reception "reactivated" but they still didn't work. The staff came up with a machine and fixed our door. The staff were EXCELLENT. It's not their fault the hotel itself is falling apart. The pool / spa area was wonderful. The staff were great. We got food at the bar but the crutons were stale...as were the croissants at breakfast (one morning). The next morning they were cold in the middle (like they had been frozen but not thawed completely?). The eggs at breakfast were disgusting. Scrambled was powdery. Fried was hard and congealed and cold. They forgot the black / white pudding and brought it when we had finished our breakfast. The self serve part was

The room was so spacious and the food was amazing.

The pool was cold 🥶

The attention to detail for the kids, ice pop surprise on arrival, tippee tent, kids tableaux chaise, books to read and the goodie bag. These details made it extra special. Food in the var was delish, kids pizza was yummy, the burger and buttered chix curry were amazing! Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant from the checkin in to check out, special mention to Sarah at the pool, Janice at breakfast & our waiter at the bar, sorry did get his name.

The biggest turn off was the walk to the pool. Through the car park, up 2 flights of stairs, then to walk outside through a fire exit. Very glad it wasn't raining out
