Stayed in the hotel part with the villas. Felt like a home away from home. Staff are incredible. Massage was also phenomenal.

[location] less than 10 minutes on foot to Pub Street. [food] breakfast has variety of options that you can combine as you want. [room] 2 stories compact villa, bed on GF, bath on 1F. i felt it like home and liked very much. but probably it is hard for senior to step up / down that steep stairs often. [staffs] staffs are super friendly and kind being ready to help customers all time. receptionists are fluent in English.

The Rambutan Resort is a lovely beautiful oasis down a very quiet road in downtown Siem Reap opposite the Night Market and a short walk to Pub Street (if you really want to go there!). It’s surrounded by some lovely restaurants and bars too. Our room was amazing - choose the deluxe room with the rooftop terrace if you can! I definitely recommend this as the terrace is huge and a great place to rest. The shower and bathtub is a bonus! Our door was one step away from the pool … we couldn’t fault our room location at all, but it’s not a big hotel so any room would have been in a great location. The onsite restaurant is wonderful - we had our best meal in Cambodia here - and the bar serves a wide range of drinks and cocktails at really good prices. The staff are great and we felt welcomed and comfortable straight away. It is a quiet hotel, but this is a perfect base for relaxation after busy days touring the local area.

We had wonderful days at the Rambutan Resort. The rooms were really nice, perfectly equipped and clean. The breaktfast and the food (we had the Khmer Curry) was delicious! And on top of this, the staff is so kind and helpful all the time! We really would come back!

Fabulous as always, the staff are fantastic, all are helpful and courteous. The facilities are fantastic. The beds have a top sheet and a selection of pillows, which in my opinion is fabulous. Nothing was too much trouble for them.

The cutlery in the restaurant is a little hard to hold, for us old folks with limited mobility, A VERY Small matter indeed.

Rambutan has 2 locations next to eachother, one is more new and more luxurious and one a bit older, but still cute. it depends on the room you book, where you end up staying. They both have a pool and are nicely decorated. We stayed in the older one for one night. We had a duplex upstairs, so one quite steep stairs up and the duplex has the bedroom and bathroom upstairs, so one more stairs. A lot of luggage carrying. The decoration of the room is lovely, but a bit run down. We had our breakfast at the newer resort, very peaceful and good. And restaurant ‘Wild’, also next door, has really good food and a chill vibe. All the staff is very friendly and helpful. If i were you, i would book a little more expensive room and stay in the newer resort.

As said, you have to climb 2 steep stairs to reach the bedroom and bathroom. The airco in the bedroom was not working too well and the bed was good, but not very stable.

The location and surrounding of the hotel was just great! Great service from the hotel staff from the receptionist to the bartenders
