Amazing view, amazing hotel in a castle with a lot of hiding corners, full of surprises, antique furnitures everywhere, great breakfast, great spa and a wonderful helpful staff. Our room was awesome!!!!

Their is nothing to not like in this place! We will be back for sure.

The Schloss building itself was breathtaking and the few rooms that retain their authenticity were beautiful. Our room was modern and comfortable and the breakfast exceptional. We chose to eat in the inner dining area as it was housed in one of the original rooms which added to the charm of our stay.

Unfortunately the Schloss has been converted into resort style accommodation which did not suit us as we were looking for a genuine castle experience. The food and service in the restaurant did not match the standard of the accommodation which was disappointing.

Breathtaking! This hotel located up on a hilly road where you can see the whole town, Mittersill. The hotel basically an almost 1000 yr old castle where you really feel like a queen and king. Every details inside the room and common areas are so interesting, you also can find many hidden places with lot of history. Plus they offer a guide around the castle. The breakfast rich and tasty, the stuff very kind (they helped us the find and book a table at one of the local restaurant in Mittersill). For sure, one day we will come back again!

I can truly recommend this hotel to everyone. A great outdoor swimming pool with nice leasure/chill area. You can enjoy sauna and good cousine (especially wines and cheeses are brilliant). I do appreciate hotel´s warm hospitality. Simply awesome!

It would be useful if hotel staff provide us more information about history of hotel (which is spectacular btw) and more informations about options in spa (ie. massages). Would be nice if someone could provide us service in SPA (is. drinks and some finger food). During breakfast in indoor part of the restaurant were flies over the food. That can be easily eliminated;)

it was self contained and great but not close to the town however the shuttle would take you there if needed

Amazing views of the mountains from the bedroom. We stayed in the Suite and there was lots of space, comfy beds. Outdoor pool was quiet in the morning and had exceptional views also.

Really comfortable place to stay, the room was clean and spacious with lovely views from two sides. Big bathroom with massive shower, bath and two sinks. Really nice and friendly staff. Small but nice pool, especially on an evening when it’s not busy. Various areas to sit out in the garden by the pool.

The toilet was in a separate room to the bathroom, without a sink.

WiFi connection very poor

The rooms were big and comfortable, the badroom and bathtub was great and the view amazing. the Castle, the personnel and the spa exceed my expectations.

We received an upgraded room, which was amazing! Great room and wonderful balcony. The views from the balcony were stunning! Wonderful breakfast. We hiked down to town for dinner (restaurant was closed) - it is a bit steep, but great workout!

The restaurant was closed during our stay, so we were not able to have dinner at the hotel.

Spa area and pool are very nice. Solid breakfast.

Fake fire place in our room instead of a real one.

Wall socket next to bed was missing.
