Ein wirklich super nettes und warmherziges Gästehaus! Alle waren sehr bemüht uns einen tollen Aufenthalt zu bescheren. Das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und für Fragen jederzeit offen. Man fühlte sich sehr Willkommen. Jederzeit wieder!

A relaxing stay all round. Great swim in gentle sea Infront of the resort. Breakfast was included & well executed. Menu for lunch & dinner varied & delicious. Well presented with great service. Staff were exceptional. It makes guests feel special.

Our room across from the reception was lovely. Unfortunately not sound proofed. Our suggestions to correct the problem was noted & well received. A naughty yapping dog in the street was annoying at times but that's the island life ... It's a doggies life !

Absolutely beautifully located small boutique hotel directly on the beach/seafront. Lovely pool and relaxing pool area with a great vibe but still tranquil. The staff without exception were wonderful. Food in the restaurant superb for all meals. Very comfortable room - large; comfy bed and great shower.

The hotel is very nice, the see in front of the hotel is full of tropical fishes, the staff at the reception and the maitre of the restaurant are kind and efficient.

The rest of the staff at restaurant is not very good. i know their are young and some of them are in training but most of them can understand english and is able to take orders (there was just a young guy that did an excellent service)

The total stay was excellent, good location friendly staff ,very helpful. Nothing was too much for them . Respection staff were excellent. Great place to stay.

Restaurant need to update their menu. The same menu every day i a bit boring. Breakfast timing needs to be sorted out juice and coffee come then toaste siting waiting for egg etc.

i don’t recommend anyone to go there it’s public beach i could even stay more than 1 day even i have paid for 5 night over there and the management refused to refund for the money they have not accepted to return me the money and they told me you are not allow to eat inside the room the food was bad the room not clean dust everywhere

Location (outsite hotel) wasn't clean, and from my point of view neither safe No restaurants in the zone Understand, that is more "local zone" ...but I don't think is ok to "kill and clean" the tuna fish on the beach, few meters from the hotel beach..

- Beautiful view from the pool and restaurant of the ocean - delicious breakfast (especially the homemade Marmelade and granola) - Emelie from reception is amazing, very friendly, funny, and always has a solution/ can help with anything - great location within walking distance to different restaurants - modern and chic rooms

- some of the restaurant staff seemed to really dislike their job which was very noticeable for the guest - there were quite often mix ups with orders

food is ok and service usually nice however: - we rented a scooter, the receptionist asked us 1k rupies for the delivery at the hotel, we paid the amount without receiving any invoice even after several requests. no idea if the amount was really for the scooter rental, - usually not very organized and flexible, e.g. reception is empty most of the time, they give you the coffe machine in the room but you pay for the coffee…

Nice hotel on the waterfront with good facilities and staff.

Too much emphasis given to non-residential diners, struggled to find anywhere comfortable for guests to sit for pre and post-dinner drinks. Could do with a dedicated guests area. Also, quite a walk to other facilities which were quite limited.

Breakfast and dinner only ala carta. For five nights to difficult to find some new, it was for me complication, when I dont like coriander. Too much coriander!

very steep and narrow stairs, difficult for an elderly person to climb. the toilet and the bathroom are separated by a wooden partition, so that the couple feels awkward, sounds and smells are all in the bedroom. $300 is very expensive for such amenities.

They gave us a room next to the reception full of noise in the evening AND early in the morning.. do not expect a good night… For the rest there are other hotels way nicer for the price on the island

We absolutely loved our stay and the entire experience we had at The Bay. A beautiful, private and serene setting. The atmosphere was pleasant, and it’s clear that hospitality isn’t anything new for the staff, their ever willing attitude made us feel like royalty. It feels very boutique and exclusive. The terrace, restaurant and food and drink are very good, it’s right on the beach, the rooms are pleasant.

Some of the restaurant staff seemed inexperienced. the staff were pleasant but could have been more helpful in some instances. At over £200 per night, I wouldn’t say it’s brilliant value for money, although it is very nice. We had two single beds pushed together, you have to pay for capsule coffee in the room. It’s right on the beach but not easy to swim in because it’s shallow with lots of small boats.

Update - the hotel has responded very defensively :( Only recognising the parts of the review that they feel like they can say is the customers fault, what a shame. Especially as I did leave the keys at the desk! The hotel has the potential to be really special! If some tweaks are done to remedy where it currently falls down, think it could become a place that people return too and consider a real boutique stay. The deco is lovely and done in extremely good taste. I want my house to look like this place. The location feels isolated (in a good way!) and has gorgeous sunsets. Some of the staff are friendly and kind! The cocktails are fabulous - really comprehensive and well thought out menu!

Sadly, quite a few things! I’d booked this room for the end of our trip in Mauritius and was excited to finish our time here. For what was described as a standard room, it was small, and had a real lack of light with no view (looks into a neighbouring property’s wall). The standard room photos show that the rooms have views to the beach and ocean. Ours did not! Which made me particularly sad. I wish this was made clearer or the standard room photos didn’t show sea views as I would have booked a superior sea view room if I had known that was the only way to guarantee that view. We heard other guests at breakfast who were expressing similar disappointment. The bed wasn’t a size could fit two people comfortably and was very small. I’m quite petite too! The room didn’t feel clean, there was a lot of sandy grit on the floor which was there from when we arrived, and the room wasn’t cleaned daily and the bed wasn’t made, something you would expect for the price and is included in cheaper stays in other areas of the island. The restaurant foods quality is ok, but not good. A shame! Then there’s a few little things which are definitely nothing major but worth bearing in mind that I want to share as it’s often the little tweaks that can make a difference. - When you have tea and coffee at breakfast, you have to ask for teaspoons as they didn’t seem to provide these as default. - The bottle of water in the room isn’t currently topped up daily - Making the beds make all the difference, even if you don’t change the sheets (which I support as it’s much more eco friendly) each day - If you are providing a welcome cocktail, I would do this instead of juice - or don’t call it a cocktail or offer both options :) - The music in the evenings could do with some more variety!
