Well located, nicely converted old building in a very pretty setting. Clean, comfortable with ample parking

Such a refreshing change staying in a small village rather than a large town or tourist development. Restaurant was really good value and one of the best meals I have had. Nice view from our window over the roof tops to the mountains. Lovely secluded garden to relax in.

Pool was lovely, room was very comfortable, clean and quiet.

The hotel is great. It feels modern but still holds it paysan features and charm.. I ate in the restaurant and the food was a high standard and probably the best in the village. Good staff, very attentive and amiable.

It was quite warm in the room and in the summer it could do with some air con. It was warm , but it wasn't unbearable.

Wonderful room for the three of us, plenty of space, really clean and comfortable, well set-out and a lovely bathroom with great views. Really nice breakfast in the morning set us up beautifully for the day. The communal spaces were welcoming and as were ladies on reception and at breakfast, we had a great short stay here. We drove so it was great that they have secure, convenient on-site parking

The hotel itself was great, and it's not really something I didn't like, more of a tip. If you're hoping to dine in the evening and want to stay in Arreau town, check which restaurants are open and book a table in advance. Not all restaurants are open every day (certainly when we were there in Feb half term) and the ones that are look great, but no-one had any space without a booking. Luckily we'd had a rather large lunch in Loudenvielle (at Brasserie L'Escapade and had great burgers and crepes!) so wasn't too much of a problem, but we'll know for next time!

Overall very good experience, comfortable and quiet room, delicious and rich breakfast, very nice and helpful staff. We had one cleaning issue with a bathroom but hopefully it was one time case.
