Spacious clean villa. Friendly knowledgeable hosts.

Loved the hospitality of the owners and very kind, aprochable and helpful! Made us feel very welcomed to the Island and at ease in a place we'd never been before. Awsome having pretty much everything you need available there, wifi to purchase, dvds, snorkeling gear, kayaks washing machine ect, and great beach area to snorkel or watch the sunset

Very friendly and informative staff who went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. The room was beautiful and private. Good quiet location with a short walk to the beach. There was good snorkelling and the best views on the island for sunsets.

We had a wonderful stay at The Cooks Oasis while in Rarotonga! The property is beautiful and well maintained. it is so close to the beach you’re practically on it. We used their kayaks, snorkels + flippers, pool and a cupboard full of dvd’s which we loved at the end of each day to wind down. The laundry on the property was also very handy. Each time the room was cleaned there were new fruits in the bowl we looked forward to trying. The hosts were fantastic, gave us a great tour of the place and some good recommendations for the island, we even had our room upgraded! We would be back in a heartbeat.

Quiet, great location and wonderful staff

The hosts were so genuinely friendly and helpful. there were so many little additional extras we had no idea were there like the free access to kayaks, snorkel equipment, reef shoes, laundry facilities and a huge DVD collection. the fruit bowl waiting for us when we checked in was brilliant.

Location is great! Just walking distance to the beach.. And very close to different restaurants and to the airport. The owners are amazing and super helpful. Thank you for everything you did to make us have a wonderful holiday. We loved staying there for a week and definitely go back.

This accommodation was my lucky choice. Matty & Erin are lovely hosts and extremely helpful. The communication in advance and during my stay was so easy and you will always get a reply within minutes ;-) I can highly recommend this place and will stay with you again on my next visit. Great location on the north west side Of Rarotonga,these villas are very well kept up,.(even thought they not brand new)But very comfortable with a little porch. Fully equipped mini kitchen,super clean and In great condition and maintained. .And they do provide you with free snorkeling gears,a splash pool, kayaks, lots of DVD films and a washing machine free of charge if you get bad weather ..And the hostess are great and super friendly and has lots of knowledge of Rarotonga Island.The only minor issue for me was These villas wasn't on the beach or front beach.,( My bad tot) ,I thought So when I did the booking)!...I should have done more research,But they do have a private Beach access just 150 meters down the road. So If you not a proper beach bum like my self who wants to see the sea from you're mini villa or porch?Go ahead and book It, You want get disappointed!

one thing is that it is very tropical with gardens etc and that lead to a lot of ants in the room. they were all through the bed and crawled on us.

The Cooks Oasis was the perfect place to start our holiday. Erin and Matty were so warm and welcoming, helped us with our enquiries and bookings. We (2 ppl) shared a villa that was spacious and well equipped as well as spotless. We really loved the beach garden to watch the sun set and snorkelling there is excellent. Fresh fruit from the garden was a special treat for breakfast. The location is quiet and not touristy, with lovely restaurants nearby. Thank you Erin and Matty xo

Wish we'd stayed longer

the villas are spacious and Erin and Matty are amazing hosts! they are very accomodating and even allow us to check out late with a small fee so us girls could get ready before the late night flight. we couldn’t be happier with the place and the convenience of it with having a car park, snorkelling and kayaks gears to borrow. We would definitely love to stay again when we get to revisit Rarotonga.

Everything! I’m sure there was another reviewer that said the same. The hospitality we received from Erin and Matty was second-to-none! They are some of the most lovely and genuine people and we were so grateful that they could have us at such short notice. We stayed in the basic studio villa and it had all that we needed for our stay. We were provided with fresh fruit upon arrival (which I inhaled) milk and a bottle of water. The studio was so CLEAN! The shower was lovely and we were even provided with small toiletries. They provide free laundry facilities and a massive collection of DVD’s and books for those rainy days. Erin even caught us on the way to the laundry to wash our towels, stopped us in our tracks, took them from us and gave us fresh towels. The location was perfect! We had chosen to catch the bus during our trip and there is a bus stop literally at the end of the driveway. And at the other end is The Cooks’ Oasis private access to the beach - an amazing spot to go snorkelling as well. Erin and Matty have snorkelling gear available to use free of charge. There are restaurants to either side of the driveway as well as The Edgewater Resort and The Crown Resort within walking distance. Close enough to the airport and main town centre as well. All in all, we had an incredible experience here at The Cooks’ Oasis. Erin and Matty really are gems and we have already expressed to them that we’re planning to come back 😅

Everything. The villa was great - clean and comfy with everything I needed, the beach was beautiful and the hosts were super lovely and helpful. Close to the airport, Antipodes and Black Rock Beach. Loved the fresh papaya from their tree!

Nothing. Bring ear plugs if the roosters bother you! I didn't mind it, I'm on holiday!

hosts were nice - easily accessible, quick to come when we 'beat the drum', good suggestions, very friendly! dogs around the area friendly had snorkel equipment + kayaks to use which was nice clean rooms + area fruit basket on arrival was a nice touch as well as the filtered water DVD and books to borrow as well!

the shower was cold for 2 of the 4 nights we were there. Pool was also smaller than anticipated air conditioner - didn't get told by hosts how to turn it on initially, had to ask if the aircon worked on the third day

Clean spacious private versatile

Lyn and Wayne are awesome hosts. The villa we stayed in for 2 nights was perfect for our stay. A lovely fruit basket was waiting on our arrival, along with tea/coffee/milk and water. Filtered water is available for guests use. A short walk to the beach, kayaks for your use and for an energy boost in the morning there is a yummy bakery just down the road. We would have stayed longer if we could. We'd definitely recommend.

Really great location as you are close enough to walk to the shops or to a few restaurants. Ine xploring the rest of the island we realised how lucky we were to be within walking distance. The host was wonderful as we arrived at 2am. She organised an airport pickup and made sure the room was ready with water and fresh fruit which was much appreciated. The next day she was helpful in lshowing us how to work out the bus stop and giving us a headsup that everything would be closed the following day so we could prepare. We found her really kind and thoughtful throughout our stay as there was an area with movies and books to borrow, kayaks to use, and a space with filtered water to fill up our bottles. We would
