Everything was very family vibed

Lights were dim at night, not much natural light , I didn't have a car so the distance to places to have dinner/shops was a bit of a trek.

Rather taken back as there was no kitchen bench but there was an electric jug and toaster. Smoke alarm went off at 6.30 am! Known fault!!

We enjoyed our stay, especially because Phil and his wife were AMAZING hosts. Nothing was too much of an ask for Phil and he always offered to take us to wherever we needed to go. It was nice and clean and the aircon was key as it was so hot. Loved the pool too.

The bed wasn't the comfiest but would still stay here again.

Room was a good size, liked having a sofa to relax on. Friendly owners.

Shower head was set too high, and not able to be moved down, plus had some partially blocked holes on the nozzle, so got sprayed directly into the face. Very annoying!

the property was clean, newly refurbished, the staff were friendly and the pool area is beautiful! plus it’s a short drive from both Gisborne centre and the beach. perfect!
