Words cannot express just how amazing this trip was. This was our first family trip, and we had a lot to celebrate. I hold this place in such high regard, I’m gonna break it down by category: The staff: They treated us with a kindness that I’ve never experienced anywhere else - and I travel A LOT. Giota, the manager, has an attention to detail with high standards of excellence that she passes on to her team members. Everyone who works there takes their role seriously and aim to make you feel at home. This starts from the moment you arrive. We spent most of our evenings onsite, which gave us lots of time to connect with Giota and her staff. This connection was so real that on our last day we exchanged gifts, shedding a few tears at our last goodbye. The property: It’s small and intimate in an area that’s quite private. During your stay, it’s just you, other guests and the staff, which really creates that “home away from home” feeling. It’s also very close to Ornos and Mykonos Town, making it accessible to hot spots on that part of the island. And our villa! We had a group of six: five adults, one child. We chose the Friends and Family Villa, which came with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We all felt like we had plenty of private space to ourselves while also having loads of room to spend quality time together. The beach: I’ve stayed at hotels before with private beaches - but this was next level. It really feels like it’s just for you. Clear waters, clean sand, serene and quiet. Perfect for kids, or anyone looking for a chill seaside experience. The food: Breakfast was included in our rate, so we enjoyed this daily. Even with a one-week stay, there are enough items on the menu so that you can try something new each day. And because we were so cozy, we also had dinner here most nights. Compared to other very nice restaurants nearby, I still preferred my dinners here the most. The seafood pasta, wow.

Absolutely nothing

The breakfast is something else… amazing and included. The beach is ver nice and isolated. Perfect for swimming and resting. Restaurant is good for lunch and dinner. The villa we got had 2 rooms / 2 bathrooms and an amazing view. Fully equipped for cooking there if needed. You can even walk to the market 2km and buy what you need. Hotel transfer are great and reasonably priced.

It’s great and will go again… but the hotel did not provide for water… at this price range I think it would add value to offer a daily water (and coffee pods). Also, the gym was dated and not very functional.

We liked our spacious villa, the private beach and the lovely view and quiet location. The staff were lovely & helpful.

There were a few miscommunications with the restaurant staff regarding dietary requests and not so many gluten free options. Taxis were expensive and not easy to walk to old town etc.

Everything! Great villa, friendly staff, delicious food, wonderful spa treatments, very comfortable on all levels, I can't fault anything! The service was excellent, they couldn't do enough and made our stay so enjoyable. We travelled with a baby and they made our stay very easy and made you feel very special. Highly recommend Casa del mar!
