Greate place to stay in the centrum of Ecija. Altought it faces the street, rooms are quiet and comfortable.

The location was superb, situated on one of Écija's prettiest streets, just opposite the museum and a few minute's walk from everything. Staff very helpful, the house is authentically Andalucian and has lots of very relaxed charm. Room very spacious and comfortable.

WiFi was barely functional. Normally it wouldn't have been a problem but I had to do some work while I was there and needed to hotspot my phone just for basic things.

Very friendly, lots of character and quiet although in a fairly busy street.

Having a shower was difficult as I had to try and hold the shower curtain as the water would have gone on the floor.

It was excellently located in a lovely old building in a shady side street just off the main square. We were only there one night but it did very well and we would go back if we were in the area again. Ecija is a very handsome old place, a somewhat overlooked - and vey hot - gem in a region not short of them.

The little landlady was adorable! Amazing location right in the heart of everything. Great walking city. Parking in the plaza lot easy and your best bet as all the streets are tiny and full. Only €9 a day with card from hostel. Don't let hostel fool you it is a perfect location. Stay again in a heartbeat. Wifi not great but not a reason to not stay here

The professionalism of the way in which the property was run. It could not have been more central. It was quiet, as there was no traffic in the street. Everything was so clean.

It is very old some people may like that but we don't so one night was enough. Slight noise from street especially tapping dog.

Situated in the very centre of Ecija; La Casa en Centro is prefectly situated to see the sights and enjoy the restaurants and cafes in the town, also perfect for you to pop back for a siesta at about 2pm when the whole town shuts down until about 7pm due to the oppressive summer heat. The room was clean and a good size with personal bathroom and shower, the bed was very comfortable (I stayed at a 4 star hotel in Seville afterwards and I was much more comfortable in La Casa en Centro). Importantly; the airconditioning was brilliant and surprisingly quiet. I was also surprised by the little amount of street noises bleeding through the windows given how central the location is. I was there for a friends wedding and asked to borrow an iron for my wrinkled suit, the charming hostess offered to iron it for me and would not accept any gratuity for the effort. She also very kindly gave me a little grace with checkout (as I didnt get in from the wedding til 7am). The pace of life here is very relaxed and the people are very friendly but they speak little to no English, so if you're planning a visit it will help you to learn some Spanish.

I had no negatives about the hotel but there a few things to consider; It's more of a really nice guest house/hostel and so if you expect some of the extreme conveniences of a 4-5 star hotel you will be dissapointed. Try not to drive in Ecija! the roads are so small and tight if you are unfamilar with them you will have problems, also parking can be difficult. Learn some Spanish, that goes for staying anywhere in Andalucia!
