Breakfast refill is slow and ignored, staff are not welcoming or hospitable, room no AC, the toilet and shower room in my room were broken

Very small room as expected, comfortable bed, very quiet at night, and a good breakfast. Very good location, 15 m diving to Geneva city center, nice surroundings around the hotel with a few restaurants, and also quite good food at the hotel restaurant.

The room was well-kept, clean, and recently renovated.
Even though it was a non-smoking room (2nd floor) the guest(s) in other adjacent room(s) were smoking, and the smoking fumes were in the hall area and were entering the room. It would have been better if the entire floor was designated as a non-smoking area, otherwise, it is barely tolerable for the non-smoking guests. The hotel does not have an elevator.

Room functional rather than aesthetically pleasing, but everything worked. The food in the restaurant was creative and of high quality. Restaurant prices appropriate for the quality.
No-one on reception when we arrived at 16.30 though keys to rooms were available. A notice on the desk stated that the reception desk would be staffed from 18.00. Nobody came, and the only time it was staffed was during morning breakfast time.
The garden was rather sad and neglected, The ''terrasse fleurie' had no flowers (early September) and also looked rather down-at-heel.

No really, but if may add one thing, could be the reception, maybe I arrive early, I am arriving with no one at the reception, so I called the number and it was a self guide CHECK IN, which is also interesting.

breakfast was good - hotel was clean
There were no staff on reception for the whole time we were there and on arrival had to locate our own room key from instructions on a board. The only time we saw anyone was on leaving to ensure the bill was paid - surly attitude! THERE WAS NO LIFT!!! so we had to lug 2 x 23 kilos suitcases up 3 flights of narrow stairs which was very very difficult. They advertise a beautiful terrace on the website but don’t tell you you can’t sit out there for drinks or even get a drink - not even water - unless you are eating at their restaurant. As we were visiting relatives we ate with them and on coming back to the hotel at 9pm ish could not sit down for a drink!

The room was on the top floor nd in a corner having amazing views ans a delicious breeze. The flowing brook from across the way was aquite lulling and peacful. The shower room was very modern, well designed and comfortable. The breakfast we real bacon and scrambled eggs with a selection of fruit, pastry and meats. The large terrace with outdoor seating was wonderful for dinner or appertif. Parking out front was abundantly available. Overall a wonderful stay.
The room culd have used a plug nearer the bed for nightime charging. But overall the place was great.

Convenient location close to Switzerland (we were visiting friends). Friendly staff, large rooms, nice garden. Breakfast varied.
Sound proof rather poor, we could hear other guests.
