Clean and good location

We checked in late in the evening when there was no staff but the automatic check-in was smooth. The room was clean and ready. As I have stayed in this hotel before, they remembered my previous request and had provided it already in the room. City Motel is an excellent, budget place to stay in Soest. You can park your car directly in front of your room in most cases.

There is no handwash soap near the wash basin. You need to get your own soap if you want to wash your hands in the washbasin after using the WC.

Good price.

WiFi is terrible. Streaming video stops every 1 to 15 minutes. Same result from 2 different rooms. Only 1 washing machine for all guests.

The Coffee machine only worked with coins and not cards. There was noise from the street.

Nice modern facility clean a spacious for two. We were on a motorcycle touring holiday and this was ideal for a one night stopover. Bathroom facility was excellent with good sized shower.Tea and coffee facilities would have been nice in the room but a vending machine in the reception offered this and some snacks. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets local to the site so not really a problem picking something up on route. We could park our bikes outside the room too which was useful and perhaps made them more secure on site. Would recommend as a low cost stopover.

Easy and fast check-in, clear layout of the room, walk-in shower. Sufficient WLAN (via Hotspot). City center only 1 km away, pizzeria just around the corner.

We would have liked a possibility to set some tea.

The cleanliness and plentiful hot water. Very much liked the architecture - very homely, convenient and private.

Breakfast would have been good, but we were warned of this in advance.

Its a clean hotel, good warm shower, proper bed, decent walk to city center If you want decent comfort for decent prices and you willing to walk a bit this hotel is perfect. At night there is not much noise, free parking for guests of the motel. Been there twice now, perfect for my type of breakouts :)

the rooms can become hot (even in december and the heating is off), you can open the window and close the window protection to almost closed to get a sorta air condtioning going on
