All the staff were lovely and friendly. The room was spacious, the king-size bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great!

Main options were good but other options incurred extra charge; not clear why eggs Benedict should be more expensive than a Full English.

May be a reflection of Covid but less ‘special ‘ than it used to be. We used to make a special effort for dinner; now it is all like the carvery..

the only thing I would say is that the bathrooms def need updating but they were spotless with piping hot water

It was a lovely stay for us and our show dogs. good value and nice food.

The hotel kindly offered us a continental breakfast which strangely appeared at 9pm for the next morning. cereal, milk, fruit and guitar juice. without a fridge the fruit tasted vinegary the next morning and I think maybe a croissant might have been better.

Sound insulation not good. Could hear the person in the room above us snoring a lot of the night.

The food and staff were lovely. Lovely grounds.

The room was a little dated in areas. The bathroom had quite a lot of black mould/limescale and had a bit of a mouldy odor.

The room was very comfortable and clean. Dinner was very good value and tasty. Breakfast was well cooked.

The chairs in the room were not very comfortable as they were needing more padding. A grab rail in the bathroom over the bath would have been good as it wad difficult to get in and out of the bath for the shower. Some sort of non slip mat was needed in the bath.
