Zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Niks op aan te merken
Ontbijt 2e dag was teleurstellend. Zeer lange wachttijden (1u wachten op koffie) en broodjes werden niet aangevuld. Hoofgerechten in restaurant Tonkai waren ook een teleurstelling (niet warm en weinig tot geen smaak). Koude rijst werd niet aangerekend wat wel geapprecieerd werd

It was very beautiful and in a great location
The rooms were gorgeous but not easy to use. Lighting system was more complicated than just being able to turn lights on and off. Doors were all funky. Couldn’t open the downstairs bathroom doors easily at the same time. They were too thin to squeeze through with only one open. There was no countertop work space in the bathrooms. Lots of little nooks but not very convenient. Bed was upstairs and I happen to have a hip problem right now so not easy to get to. Front closet doors had to be pulled out and moved aside to open them. It was so inconvenient that we didn’t use them.

Tention between the staff was really good and they treated my kids more than well.
From valte parking to check in to rooming to the lobb yor Restaurant everybody was very pleased to welcome us and to pamper us.

Très bel hôtel 5 étoiles, bien situé dans le quartier des musées. Chambres spacieuses et confortables. Personnel très agréable.
Le spa est vieillissant mais les massages sont excellents !

De lokatie
Ik vind de kamers waar je boven slaapt niet prettig. Vorig jaar kreeg ik ook deze kamer terwijl ik die niet geboekt heb. De toilet boven deed het toen ook niet. En dat is nog steeds zo. En als je 73 jaar bent is zo’n verdieping niet fijn.

The room was lovely, the location was fantastic for us, and the staff was amazing. The staffer checking us in immediately noticed it was my birthday, and they went out of their way to make the day special with champagne, cake, and other treats. We really enjoyed the fresh fruit in the room as well. Just a really great experience.
We struggled a little bit getting natural light in the room, but we did finally figure out how the window shades worked. We, admittedly, did not take the porter up on the offer to get a tour of the room.

De sfeer de wijze van ontvangst was boven verwachting. Een fles wijn van het huis. De kamer was om 12:00 al klaar en het personeel verdient een dikke pluim.
Twee kleine dingetjes, de douchekop vloog eraf, en de regendouche lekt aan da zijkant maar verder een mooie ruime douche. Verder was alles top voor elkaar.

The hotel is very beautiful!! We have duplex room and it is quite cool for us 3, my son has his own privacy and his own bathroom and same as my husband and I. I think that is the best part!! Also, they provide fresh fruits every day which is great even though there are alway banana, grape and apples.
House keepers always forgot to bring enough water for us. They suppose bring three bottles in the morning and three at the evening. When we came back room after dinner, we asked more then they always ask questions… Do I need to go through this tiny things when we are staying at 5 star hotel?

I liked the architecture of this hotel ! Also, the staff were very friendly and helpful, they have a help desk that can help you plan everything. The location of the hotel is perfect!

The staff were fabulous - Shafira in housekeeping was especially helpful. Location is the best in Amsterdam and the hotel is beautiful.

Impressive architecture of the hotel and wonderful staff members. The best hotel to stay at if you plan to visit museums and go to concerts at night at the Concertgebouw.
The lounge menu could use a little improvement.

The hotel was great and very grand! But couldn’t help with sightseeing tickets into the amazing museums, If they could have tickets reserved for their in-house guests.

The room was spectacular. I loved the neighborhood not so commercial feeling but close to everything. The bar has by far the best specialty cocktails. Service was very slow at the bar/club. The staff was so accommodating. My favorite hotel I've stayed in!
The service was extremely slow in the nightclub bar!! I would have had a second drink but I felt I couldn't wait a half hour to get service. The best cocktails I've ever had. They make the best cocktails.
