Good location with beautiful lake around. Room had everything we need, it was clean. Breakfast very good with lots of fruit and veg :)

The location is stunning and one of the best features. Directly next to a huge lake and cross country ski run. Also 30 seconds walk to the train station. Room was clean and functional. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful and the staff were very friendly.

Would have been good to have drink facilities in the room.

it is cheap I think, then near train station. breafast is good with many options, fresh. bar with tea n cafe n juice is free all time.

it took a little bit far with the center but it is fine. the bed is a little bit small to couple.

It was a great stay. The room was really comfortable and breakfast was included in the price, so the price is really nice as well. Bu the way, breakfast was very delicious!

Location is good, 20min subway route from city enter. Breakfast was very good. Staff is helpful.

The rooms are not the best. Unconfortable and small bed, not the cleanest room and bathroom. It is good for one night, but I would not stal there for a week.

Lovely setting close to beautiful lake at the end of a metro line above Oslo ( about 20 mins ride from central Oslo). We had an ensuite room, which was comfortable, spacious, clean & nicely furnished. We slept well on the comfortable beds & it was very quiet. Great buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, both hot & cold.. Friendly & helpful reception staff & would definitely stay here again.

Nothing - it was all great for us & we loved it. It is a sports facility, so don't expect plush carpets & vases full of flowers!

really good breakfast in a nice kantine, comfy bed and oldschool building with functional windows allowing cool night air to circulate after a hot day in the city. Love the city trains located right outside the hotel and the mountain lake recreation area behind the hotel for the perfect detox after the dust,noise,glass,and cement of the city

put up a sign that says hotel, update the photo on line so all of us looking for you don't feel so ignorant and think the same of you as first impression. We knew it was simple and old school but we old people like signs and info

Excellent breakfast

Premise: I was there just for one night. The room is basic but comfortable, breakfast as should be. It is located out from the town centre but bus stop is 20 mt from hotel and departures are frequent. Moreover you can relax and enjoy the nearby lake or have some trekking. If you are looking for an accommodation at aprropriate price you find it.

location was perfect and hotel's facilities were really good. very nice lake beside the hotel good for swimming, walking etc. very nice breakfast available

missing kettle and fridge in the rooms

Don't believe Google maps - I got off the #5 at Holstein and walked 1.2 KLMS (in the rain!) When I got to the hotel there was the tram. Go to the end of the line. Breakfast buffet had a lot that was fresh. I tried one pancake, and to my surprise it was tender. Tasted a bit sweet/mix but still quite good. Room basic dorm, but clean & TV worked. Quiet. Didn't have any towels, took a couple from the cart in the morning. It is a way from downtown BUT the tram goes right there and runs every 15 minutes till midnight. Alternative to hostel. Oh, the lake is lovely to walk around (3 klm) and you can use the gym.

Room didn't have a sofa like the picture but I had an extra bed to sit on.

We like the room, it's bigger compared to other rooms around Oslo. The breakfast is good, the kids enjoyed it. There is also an area where you can swim outside

The sofa bed, it's kinda old and dirty. But we used it still, good thing that we bring extra blankets.
