Location
No umbrellas on adult pool and it gets so hot during the day !! Pool was not very clean ! Rooms need to be updated for the prices that we paying very old motel 6 style rooms .
5.0 / 5.0
Everything was really nice, even the daily events like bingo and tequila tasting were surprisingly fun. We missed casino night because the seats reached capacity. The pool was clean and the food was delicious. The room was restocked with beer and soft drinks daily.
When I checked in, I paid cash and the employee called later to say I was short but I received the correct change. I used that change to tip the bellman. But had to go down and pay again because it's just ten USD. Also they didn't take my dollars straight from the bank, maybe $300 were rejected but luckily I had extra. Just strange they only wanted perfect fresh bills. If I knew before I would have changed them at the bank before.

We enjoyed the location, views, variety of foods and the three pools.
The ac unit in our room did not work so it was stuffy and warm which lead to many mosquitos in our room, causing lots of bites on my arms. There was hair in our sink upon arrival and the staff was not as friendly as the reviews stated. The food was cold multiple times and the wait to get a drink at the swim up bar took up to 25 minutes.

Clean and friendly. Good facilities.
Housekeeping was spotty at best. No clean hand towels or trash can liners. When requested more, they didn’t show up. Also AC was next to useless.

Location
Pressure about the 90 minute presentation
Lack of staff so food and drinks took forever
Lack of choice in food and places to eat
Tortilla soup and pasta sauce the same
Food described on the menu is not how it was served … my tropical salad never came with spinach and every order it came with a different vegetable or dressing

It would have been nice to be offered a top shelve cocktail and wine option for a fee. The liquor was cheap and not the best tasting.

Soon as you enter the hotel, you are greeted and escorted to the front desk. Check in is at 3pm, so if you end up getting there early, I suggest wearing/having something comfortable on or having a swim suit ready to go. If not, there are some good restaurants to grab something to eat. For adults, there is a lobby bar, guest services also have champagne and the entire hotel is clean and suitable upon arrival. A concierge will attend to you and give you a brief run down of the resort while you wait if your room isn't available. All of the staff speak Spanish, but they also have knowledge of the English language so it isn't uncomfortable to speak to any of them. I do suggest learning some phrases and simple Spanish terms just to make it more enjoyable for your stay as well, it makes it a better experience for all. I stayed for 6 nights, and I did not feel like I ran out of food options. All of the restaurants except for breakfast and the café are a la Carte, so they prepare it for you fresh and you will have to be seated. The services here are fast, friendly and respectful. If you do want to take a break from the resort, they have excursions booking right in the lobby, easy and will charge directly to your card filed for your room. Also, the Marina is directly outside, hassle free, just walk out the front doors, the gate guard will ask you for your room number and enjoy! They are not responsible for what happens outside the gates, but they are mindful of when their guests exit and enter!
As for things that could've been better with the hotel, the activities they have planned weekly are the same. The event hosts are friendly and somewhat funny and try their best, but the activities are the same. The adult only pool is where all the activities take place but the pool bar is never attended to. They have a group of 3-4 servers that walk around the pool and beach taking orders and like 2 bartenders that never take orders AT THE BAR. If they do, you'll be waiting at least 10 minutes for a cup of ice, or a Pina colada. They also do not play a wide variety of music. Definitely if you are chilling by the pool, if you mind what you are listening to, bring some earbuds while you lounge. You can not swim on the beach, so if you are looking for a beach vacation by all means the beach is beautiful but, the waves are far too dangerous for anyone to swim through. They have a "Night Club" which is on and off some days. The DJ I have noticed there don't really know how to "DJ" very well. They have a select playlist of songs in which they flip though, but nothing that keeps the guests awake and in the club for the duration of the hours. Not bad for your first two days, but after that the festivities get old really fast.

We had the most wonderful time at Sandos Finisterra! The staff was kind and welcoming; the food was exceptional, and our room was beautiful. The location is great as you are right by the town, which also houses the marina, and you can walk there to shop, jog, go to restaurants, etc. The beach was absolutely beautiful; you were not allowed to go in the water as the waves were massive and the undercurrent was too strong. There are several big pools, so this was a non-issue for us. I recommend upgrading as it gives you the ability to go to the 7th floor pool, which is more intimate with its own bar. The bartender there, Ismael, is fantastic! I also recommend the travel service through Sandos, Seek and Go. Our drivers were prompt and friendly. Overall, it was a tremendous time!

you can walk to marina 10 min and request a boat / trip cheaper than hotel.
All staff very friendly and polite
NO BEACH - THE WHOLE YEAR YOU CANNOT SWIM, I MEAN NEVER. NO ONE SAY IT JUST WHEN WE ARRRIVED
Food and drinks are no the best for all inclusive just in the italian and its just in dinner time, breakfast just for member, I don't know what kind of members.

All of the staff really is the sweetest warmest most patient group of people. The views in this hotel are great. I thought the drinks and food were pretty good.
Some restaurants, activity areas, lobby are all in completely open areas. It was very windy so it was hard for us to get away from the wind.

Fantastic location. Great mix of beach, mountain, proximity to downtown. Kept very clean including public bathrooms. Spa was good, services above average. Room and equipment throughout resort was kept up well and worked well. Big comfortable room with balcony overlooking beach.
Loud cruise ship like activities at the pool. Not relaxing, very annoying. Food was less than mediocre. Fresh, but tasteless. They attack you when you check in to buy a "premier membership" like a time share. And if you're not interested they become rude.

the location was amazing. everything was within waking distance. we love to walked so we went all the way to Medano beach.
the food was okay. nothing special but there were some spots that were decent. the breakfast was always good.

Food was great, staff was wonderful, pool was fun, drinks were delicious!
We were in room 8101 (marina view) and it was very far from the lobby and pool. Would not recommend this room if you have any mobility problems as there are a lot of stairs and no way to avoid them.

beautiful property
food was horrible and the staff stole $500 and two bottles of cologne from our belongings. they make you give them your room number at the gate when you leave and then give your room number again when you enter the resort so they have a constant awareness of your whereabouts.

Love the friendly staff, the facilities as well
The first room but we were upgraded later

This is not a 5 star, more like 3. Food is horrible, rooms dirty, property is very outdated. We ate out for lunch/dinner

The location was gorgeous. The pools and daily activities and shows were really fun. Staff was all very nice and helpful.
The food was pretty terrible, but it was all inclusive so we went with it. We didn’t like feeling constantly pressure to join their timeshare membership thing. The beds were sadly very uncomfortable.

Facilities and activities at the hotel were awesome! The white beach party, pool events every day and the general vibe was so fun! The food was incredible throughout the stay, especially the sushi and wood-fired pizzas and the staff was absolutely exceptional!! Will return here in a heartbeat, highly recommend.
Rooms were a little dated, could be upgraded for an even better experience. But you will spend most of your time at the resort pool / beach, which is awesome.

the views were phenomenal, the lay out of the resort being built with the lay of the land is unique and beautiful.
could not get into the ocean, we traveled over 3000 miles to a beach resort and couldn’t even enjoy the beach and ocean
4.5 / 5.0
All the food on the property was great minus the Italian, it wasn't as good as all the others. The room was great and comfortable with a great view of the pool and ocean. The live entertainment and nightclub on site was also a nice added feature.
Room service slow and coffee pots in room need improvement. Coffee from room service came slightly warm not hot.

very good staff , very attentive and concerned about your enjoyment
lack of quality restaurants (except Tortuga)
lack of good wifi and essential no wifi in the room
food from Agave was poor

The resort is pretty nice and spacious. The spa was absolutely the best thing on the resort hands down to me! Don’t take my word for it. we got a massage at the same time, afterwards went in the spa pool it was all included just pay for the massage which was nice! The staff very nice around the resort however the concierge’s team didn’t seem that helpful to me as they changed staff it was like I had to repeat my request for my birthday so bring your own things if possible. Now the regular staff was helpful nice I also like how they keep track of the Taxi numbers going in and out of the resort incase of emergency I forgot my bag in one of taxi and one of the other Taxi men were able to locate him :) I was so relieved. The restaurants were nice. overall 9 1/2 :) entire experience
concierge Team wasn’t that helpful and lack of communication. Bring your own things.
