Beautiful rustic room with a balcony to look out on. But the only reason why I wanted to stay here was because I have a 2 year old who loves to be outdoors all the time but we weren't able to use it as it was muggy and wet and there were too many mosquitos 😩. Chose a terrible day to come 😂. Recommend the door handles being higher as my 2 year old can just open the door and run outside to the car park!

having stayed her 4 years prior we were disappointed this time around. not enough towel rails, broken shower head, shower was dirty, rubbish bin too small for our needs, table was sticky and kept bumping into the corner of the bed and freezer part of fridge didn’t work.

This place is an outstanding example of how to run a motel for weary travellers, clean roomy, quiet easily accessible. We will never stay in any other place when we drive through Bairnsdale thank you to the owners. No smoking outside the room is such a bonus.

Lovely place to stay. The rooms are clean and well equipped and we had a very comfortable stay here.

Location: not far from town. We were heard to ride the East Gippsland Rail Trail and the accomodation was not far so we could ride from the Motel. Staff and check in/check out: staff were extremely friendly from check in to check out. We asked for a later checkout and they were most accomodating. Room: clean and well serviced in terms of facilities re microwave, cutlery and plates, toaster and kettle. Bathrooms are large. Free wifi access also. Spacious rooms.

The bed was slightly too soft for me, but that is a personal preference. Nothing else we didn’t like.

Only bad thing-VERY noisy guest next door who was smoking out the front and caused the smoke to come into my room.

Have stayed here numerous times very clean, great size rooms and have everything you need and more. Staff are lovely always friendly.
