etwas hellhörige Zimmer aber in einem erträglichen Rahmen, haben wir auf unsere Rundreise durch Neuseeland weit schlimmer erlebt und ist wohl der landesüblichen Bauweise geschuldet; der etwas veraltete Kühlschrank war in der Nacht phasenweise recht laut, man kann hier aber einen guten Kompromiss zwischen Lautstärke und Leistung einstellen - alles zusammen Kleinigkeiten, die unserem wunderbaren Aufenthalt in Hahei nicht geschadet haben :)

Spacious, private cottage, self contained. Amenities are great, spades and beach towels available for hot water beach. Great bbq area and lounge for extra space. Dinner at church bistro was fabulous!

Perfect location, walking distance to the beach, but most important: it felt like a hidden gem, very friendly and helpful staff. The accommodation is much nicer than the photos on the website suggest. Breakfast was also very good.

Lovely little cottages that was within walking distance to the beach. The hosts were super helpful and friendly. Could not have asked for a better place to stay!

Gorgeous property with beautiful garden. Rooms have style and charisma and real wood furniture. Helpful front desk - ready to give us recommendations for walks & pubs, etc. Walking distance to town and beach. They will loan you a shovel if you want to go to low tide at Hot Water Beach. This is one of those hotels that surprises and delights you by being so wonderful.

Outstanding communication with the staff. We stayed in a multiplex room; very nice with lovely patios. The individual cabins looked nice; I'd choose one of those next time. The other facilities and offerings were all useful: a lounge, laundry, and shovels and towels to borrow to help explore Hot Water Beach.

Nice room with a terrace into the beautiful garden. Loved to sit there and enjoy the view. Beach towels and shovels for the hot water beach are available for free. In walking distance to the Hahei beach.

Walls are a bit thin. As the room does not get cleaned only serviced during your stay (exchange of used dishes, cutlery, dirty towels; making the bed) we had a small sand problem in our room. Would have been nice to have a broom handy.
