The beautiful antique old bed made a lot of noise everytime you moved. It would be better to attach the headboard to the wall and to forget the rest of the frame. The antique door doesn't keep the corridor noise out.

Wonderful place to stay, characteristic building, staff really nice, our room was large and very comfortable. Breakfast was very good, several types of sweet and savoury food served to us at the table. Located near old town with free parking outside. Would recommend.

The property itself was stunning, a lovely Palazzo beautifully furnished. The rooms were a lovely size and we had a balcony with a sea view. The best was very comfortable and we slept so well every night. Shower had great pressure. The best part of our stay were our lovely hosts who make the most delicious breakfast every morning. They were both so kind and helpful with giving us recommendations on where to eat or where to swim. I could recommend this place more highly so value for money and experience. Thank you so much!

We loved our stay in Antico Palazzo Spinola. Staff could not be nicer and breakfast was delicious.

The location is perfect for exploring the city. 10min to rhe old town. Old building with unique furniture. Super stylish. Very clean.

All was perfect

The location hotel is positioned next to the train station and a few seconds from the main promenade lined with restaurants & shops which runs down toward the old town in 10 mins. The hotel is a lovely unique building with classic styling. There is a lovely roof terrace which hosts an amazing breakfast variety, the hosts cater a full selection to your table from pastries, fruits, cheese and salami, rolls and marmalade and cereals all washed down with coffees and juice. It was a lovely experience they give you to set up your day with some Italian music in the background. The room is big with a comfortable bed, the style is traditional with a mix of a contemporary large bathroom with all modern appliances, the shower is lovely and hot with good strong water pressure. A nice square room with a balcony leading out. tastefully decorated and very clean. The hosts were lovely and able to accommodate any changes and we're responsive in communications. A great place to base yourself and enjoy Gallipoli. Thank you.

Breakfast was amazing

During our road trip through Puglia, booked accomodations were often disappointing. But this one, this one, it was such a stunning good surprise for both of us - beside being also the cheapeast place out of 9. L'Antico Palazzo Spinola, booked just a few minutes before coming, happened to be the unexpected high point of our stay. The atmosphere is just incredible. And la Signora managing the place is simply wonderful. The Mister helping her doesn't look very friendly at first sight. But little by little, you can feel that, behind his grumpy apparence, he is a deeeply a caring person. Actually like in movies ;-) When we came back home from Italy, I was so overwhelmed with work, postponing week after week my comments. Now I feel relieved to have been able to show my gratitude to our hosts in Gallipoli, a town we also appreciated a lot, including its historic center, more "human" and genuinely charming than others. I'm just ashamed to have forgotten the name of the Lady of Palazzo Spanola. It will come back. We will come back :) Grazie mille Djibril & Vanesa

Since we were travelling by train the proximity to the railway station was perfect. Top notch breakfast! The decoration of the Palazzo was beautiful and stylish. Felt like in a 60s movie. The A/C worked smoothly and did not blow directly on our bed. Desi was wonderful getting up early to have our prima colazione ready to catch our early train.

The walk into the old town is a little bit long, although entertaining. The square in front of the hotel and railway station can get noisy at night, but you can shut it out by closing the balcony door and turning on the A/C.

The hotel was very charming, clean and the location was as well excellent. The hotel staff was very friendly. We will come back to this hotel.

Good location just two minutes' walk from the main street and less than ten minutes to the old town. Charming old building, nicely modernised. Good breakfast with ham and cheese and fresh fruit in addition to the basics.

The room size is not 25 sq.m. as advertised - more like 16 - 20. Also, two of the rooms (including mine) open directly into the breakfast room with no soundproofing so you can hear everybody there, and they can hear you!

the location was perfect. with parking included. the staff, including the son, were kind and accommodating. The breakfast on the terrace was a surprise with so many homemade items. I highly recommend Antico Palazzo Spinola.
