We were met by the owners of the boutique hotel who were very friendly and pleasant. They upgraded our room which was fantastic. Breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked by our hostess. Would definitely recommend this hotel. Free parking right outside the hotel. 10 minute drive to Carcassone Castle

Catherine was a lovely host who made us feel very welcome. The location was brilliant for our stay and the decor throughout was lovely and quirky. The roof terrace is inspired and with fantastic views of the chateau made the stay exceptionally memorable. Great breakfast too!

Suberb location, under the Castle walls and walking distance into old town. This comfortable old dwelling maintains its original features while tastefully adding modern comforts. It has a communal terrace at roof level with a great view of the river and old City.

It's difficult to find but worth it.

A small place just between the old city on the hill and the town below. Rooms are tasteful and the lady who runs the place is very nice and service minded. She serves a good breakfast too.

Excellent location with a short walk to all parts of the city. The room was nicely decorated and very comfortable - everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious including freshly squeezed orange juice and home made yoghurt. Delightfully friendly and helpful hostess.

Wow! What a fabulous stay! We easily parked on the street, right in front of the house! There is no elevator, so light luggage is best to take the stairs up to your room. The room was lovely, from the comfortable bed with extra pillows, to the spa shower and beautiful bathroom. The rooftop view of the old city at night is beautiful and was great while drinking some wine ! Don't miss the delicious, homemade, large continental breakfast....the apricot croissants and homemade yogurt were divine. Catherine is a gracious and lovely hostess. We hope to stay here again when we come to Carcassonne

The breakfast was a full continental breakfast. The room was very well decorated and practical at the same time. Special mention to the walk-in shower with hydromassage much appreciated after a long day. The location was good for resting and moving about town. The walking distance was about 15 minutes or a 5 minute drive. The land lord was most helpful and accommodating sharing a wealth of local lore and sites to visit and venues to acquire goods that were excellent as we had the opportunity to compare them. The room was comfortable and the A/C worked splendidly. There is also a nice terrace on the rooftop to enjoy downtime and see the cité.

For people with lots of luggage please note there is no elevator. I would have enjoyed a bit longer checkout time but I must say the management were accommodating in allowing us in earlier than 430pm and we did not request if we could leave later than 11am.

The hotel has stairs only so it was hard to get luggage moved in and out.

Very friendly hostess who showed us round the extensive property. The breakfast area and rooftop terrace are glorious (see picture for the view). The homemade yoghurt at breakfast was very tasty! We had one of the larger rooms with a big bathroom including a bath which was lovely. The location is perfectly placed for exploring the Cité and the Bastide.

It wasn’t a problem for us, but be aware that there is no lift and the rooms are on the second floor.

Brilliant location for visiting both La Cite and the newer city, Valentine and his Mum were warm and welcoming hosts, the rooms were cool, comfortable and quiet. Beautifully decorated with lovely bathrooms. Breakfast was a homemade treat of pastries, yoghurt and fruit with juice and coffee/tea. The rooftop terrace is gorgeous with amazing views across Carcassonne.

This is one of the older homes just outside the ancient city, with large spacious rooms and an incredible view from the rooftop terrace.

The front door barely stands out along the row of front doors, and you have to look carefully for the sign and house number.

The breakfast was amazing and all homemade. We had a setback so we arrived later than the latest time we had to check-in, but we rang our host and she waited for us. The views of the Bastide from the top floor were incredible. The decoration of the house and the room was gorgeous.

It was a bit stressful that the official latest time for check in was 8 pm, but it is understandable as it is not a big hotel and in the end the host waited for us even if we arrived 20 minutes late.

Catherine and her son are friendly hosts who know a lot about the local area. The hotel is only 5 minutes walk into town, and only 20 minutes walk to the citidel. The roof top terrace has an amazing view of the citidel and is equipped with tea, coffee a microwave and a mini fridge. The breakfast was amazing, all home made by Catherine... jams, crepes, French toast, fresh orange juice and freshly grinded coffee.

Very expensive for the size of room and location
