Size - it’s a large hotel

Location was beautiful and the building impressive .

The staff and service provided were among the worse one can imagine. Even my 8 year old daughter said they don’t serve more than 1+ star . Everything started from before arriving - I sent message to book the outdoor sun-beds and dinner but no reply. Upon check in I was handed out the key with no info- so I had to ask where is breakfast , confirm dinner reservations and all that while the reception employee seemed bothered of all my questions . One has to pay 40 euro to book umbrellas and sun bed ;) this is insane with regards that we talk about a 5 star hotel that is not that cheap to begin with. We were a bit late to have lunch in the main restaurant , so I ask the reception where is the bar to have some lunch - he answered: We have many bars;)))). I mean seriously . For dinner the guy comes with our order, places it on the side table behind us and we have to wait like 5-10 min before someone decided to come and serve it to us - you see it was fish and had to be deboned and only one person could do it or I don’t know the issue ;). What else ? Yeah - the restaurant has 3 rooms, some more nicer than the others - when I asked the reception to book - he just said go and talk to the restaurant guys - ok - but the restaurant guys replied very ugly that the room I preferred to be seated in needs reservations ! Incredible and quite frustrating . Wait ! There is more ;) our room was not cleaned until 18:00 in the evening even if it had the Make up my room sign on the door - so I went to reception and asked nicely if someone can go and clean it . Breakfast ;) This is something else too- nobody came to ask if we want coffee or something else from the kitchen - guess cause we were too nice - next day we were seated by an Italian lady that barked and ordered some oil and coffee to the poor waiter - she got it quite fast ;) the pool bar was really something you would expect on the stranded beach somewhere, few choices and they did not even have half of the menu available .

The room was modern and beautiful. The view from the hotel is beautiful. The bed is comfortable. Parking is right in the front of the hotel.

Snack options in the afternoon were limited and expensive.

There was a very wide choice on the breakfast buffet, with friendly staff present should one need assistance. The bathroom was large and deluxe, with a large bath and a separate shower room, the best that I have experienced. There was a very large bar area with a few small areas partially separated from the main bar. The bar had a wide assortment of beer, wine and spirits. The barman was very friendly and helpful, He had an unbelievable knowledge of his trade and seemed to have every cocktail mix in his memory,

The remote control for the room lighting. If one wishes to use the bathroom during the night, a normal switch on the wall is simple to operate, but the remote panel in the dark was so difficult that we left the bathroom light switched on the whole night and the door open, otherwise we would have given the hotel a 10 rating.

We have been staying at this hotel twice a year on when we travel through Aoste. Excellent location with mountain view and free parking just in lot outside. Good breakfast and restaurant good and not expensive.

No coffee and tea sachets, plus cups! Only sugar! Missing also face wash clothes and tissues. Appteciated two small bottled waters on the table.

The view is amazing. Large rooms and bathroom.

We gave a call to the hotel whether they can heat up the room before our arrival and put a separate bed into the leaving room. We asked that because it was a late booking so we wanted to know if it is still possible as we were skiing and all our clothes were wet. We exchanged emails and they promised that the rooms will be warm and they will place an additional bed into the leaving room. Unfortunately the radiator did not work and there was not any bed prepared for us. We called the porter multiple times and they told us to wait 10 more minutes to heat up the radiator. After 1 hour a maintenance were coming and after an other hour they fixed the issue. That was around 1am. We placed one of the bed from the bedroom to the leaving room as we were too exhausted to go down again to the porter. The following day we wanted to talk to the manager, but what a surprise he was not available and could not even call us. After an hour waiting and fighting they sent us an email that they will contact with us as they were not able to fulfill our request. Of course they did not contact so we just reported it to Booking.com So we just wanted to stay into a nice 5 star hotel and get dry and chill. We contacted with them if they can prepare our room as we did a late booking. They confirmed that in email that it will all prepared and we do not have to be worried.... But the radiator did not work as it was closed and you needed a special key to open (on he 29th of January) and the bed was not prepared neither...No communication with us, no call or email from management... But the view is nice and the rooms are large so maybe good in the summer.

The rooms are a great size, breakfast and dinner in the restaurant are excellent. The bar is great and the staff are superb - we were very well looked after.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

wi fi basically not working, for me it was a disaster as I needed to work and a functioning wi fi is a basic even for a 2 star hotel nowadays

Everything was perfect ! We booked at Park hotel Billia and got a free upgrade to the Grand Billia. It was amazing. Big rooms, very claen, no noise, friendly staff, ... I would recommend this hotel to friends & family.
