Hotel is going through an upgrade. The communal facilities for lounge, bar, break fast room and a meeting room are beautiful. Next will be the rooms that are dated but still comfortable.

Great location, fantastic staff who were amazing, could not fault them.

Breakfast was rather odd. No cooked food and quite possibly the worst boiled egg machine ever.

The management was very helpful with knowledge about the area and kind when I wasn’t feeling well. The hotel was well located in relation to the city.

The single bed was uncomfortable and needs a firmer mattress. The single room was located above the bar which was not noisy early in the week, but if later in the week I would recommend avoiding it.

Breakfast

My room was the worst I have ever experienced in a hotel. I was told if I paid a "supplement" I could have a better room. It was very small with a low sloping ceiling. There was no-where to put clothes away. Most of the space was taken by a large double bed. When I arrived the heating was not working. This was fixed. Access was by a staircase with narrow steps. These had to be walked sideways which was dangerous. (I am 93 years old). I would never use or recommend this hotel again.

Friendly staff and very comfortable bed. Location is within walking distance of the City centre. Good breakfast and a good cafetiere of coffee.

The staff were excellent. The hotel was great value for money. I love the new decor (as we’ve stayed before previously). The food was also high quality. Free parking is also brilliant!

Separate hot and cold tap so can’t get a medium temperature BUT this is really picky!

The foh faculties are really good, with contemporary design, comfortable spaces and friendly and polite staff. The hotel is also in a great location, close to the centre of Truro. a 5 mins walk down the and and you are at Hall for Cornwall.

The room was well equipped but a bit tired and will benefit from the next phase of refurbishment work.
