We had a great stay here last year and enjoyed a good evening meal, sadly this year we opted for dinner, bed and breakfast but the fixed evening meal was poor.

L’hôtel Plaza Grande est situé sur la place du même nom, en plein coeur de Zafra. Les chambres sont bien équipées et propres, le personnel est aimable et professionnel. Nous avons opté pour la formule demi-pension dont le rapport qualité-prix est intéressant. Nous avons séjourné un jour à Zafra dont on fait assez rapidement le tour à pieds.
La présence d’un restaurant sur place est un atout mais génère également du bruit le soir mais à minuit tout se calme.

This hotel is situated right on the main square. My room was quiet, the wifi was good and there was plenty of hot water. Check in was simple.
I didn't eat in the restaurant as it was end of season so a reduced menu.
The square has various bars/eateries and there are multiple shops/cafes not much further away and a museum.
It was 10 mins walk from bus station.
The breakfast wasn't great. There was fresh orange juice but no real coffee just pods...in Spain...and usual selection of plastic cheese and ham. Nothing cooked.

Lovely little gem of a hotel right on the main square of this lovely old town. Great value for money.
Breakfast was a bit too simple. Perhaps some oranges or other fresh fruit and some crosaints!

Very charming hotel right in the main plaza. We were biking via de la Plata and they had a secure place to leave our bikes. It was very nice to have breakfast, some hotels in this price range in Spain don't offer breakfast. The room had a nice view to the plaza and it was available as soon as we arrived, before check-in time, which was great for us!

The hotel was comfortable and much as advertised. And the location was perfect.
e were disappointed that it was a Monday and restaurant closed. We opted for the hotel menu and were not inspired by the options.

Breakfast was nice and the room was attractively decorated and roomy.
Very noisy. I was there on a weekend and the other guests were quite noisy. I kept waking up until about 2:30 in the morning .

Location, the ambience. Staff were welcoming and room was clean. Breakfast, although "packaged" was plentiful and well-presented.

Perfect location, fine interiors and facilities.
Breakfast was ok: fresh coffee, but very basic and needs some up-grading (buffet table instead of packed in plastic on the bar).

Square was very busy on Friday night and noisy until 2.00 in the morning.

location is great, overlooking the main Plaza in Zafra
noise, especially in the morning. not coming from the Plaza but from inside the hotel. could have been the location of the room, beware of rooms near the elevator.

Unfortinately parking is away frpm hotel and cost €10. It can be a little npisy as it's in the plaza.

Pleasant room with comfortable bed. Excellent bathroom with good shower and bidet.
Very good breakfast included in price.

Good secure parking, although this is 350 metres from the hotel.
Aircon wasn't working when we arrived but this was fixed within an hour.

Have stayed here many times before, definately going down hill, breakfast was rubbish, used to be a buffet selection now just some pastries sat on the bar,, location is great and motorbikes can be stored in compound 10 minutes walk away.
A decent breakfast would be appreciated.

Superb location right in the main square, staff were really nice and friendly, we ate in the restaurant, food was really nice, the place was packed at the end of the night..it was clean and tidy, parking was about 400m away in a compound which is this hotels partner, it cost us 10 euro,for 2 motorcycle for one night, I would definitely recommend staying here

Staff - could not be better!
Location - hard to find better.
Facilities - beautiful historic town house with exceptional restaurant downstairs (Michelin recommended).
Room decoration - simple, functional, correct, fair.
Beds are Spanish standard, 190cm,so half of my legs where out. ;)
Biggest problem: room walls seem to be made from paper. You here literally EVERYTHING as if it was right next to you. From above, left, right... So there was not much of a sleep.
