it’s a beautiful place and you have the feeling of family from the moment you open the door. it’s by far the best place we ever stayed in Bahia (and we did a long road trip). the room had a window to the ocean, we slept listening to the sea every night. in the mornings the breakfast is unique, tasty and gorgeous. we ended up having a meal in Alfazema every day, because the food is so so good and cooked with so much attention to details, it’s impossible to say no. you’ll never find a better place to eat in the village. extra points for being on the beach, you can walk from Alfazema to the sand and you can have a swim right there. if I could rate with 15 for every category, I would. i will forever treasure the days with Claudia, Luis and all the lovely animals. amazing stay, the best you can wish for.

there nothing not to like.

Claudia and Luis made me feel very welcome in their special home. This is more of an experience than a simple Bnb. The house is friendly and colorful with lots of animals and cute places to hang out. Location is perfect. Arembepe is small and local, not too touristy. The food Claudia made was delicious, even vegan at times, and the best restaurant in town is just next door. To top it off Luis is a capoeira instructeur ready to share this traditional art. I’m sad to be leaving. As a solo traveler it felt like home.

The location right onto the beach is amazing, the view from my the room and the sound of the ocean at night was incredible. Claudia's breakfast is so good and she makes the best eggs, her family are lovely and I would have done so much more with them if I'd had more time. I love animals so enjoyed the cats and dogs.
