Apartment was very spacious and clean, fully equiped kitchen, close to national park with plenty of hiking trails and several beautiful beaches (we rented car to travel). Big grocery store basicaly behind the corner. Housekeeper Mr Shan was helpful and friendly.

The location is very good to discover the south west of Mauritius. The studio is very big for two people and provided everything we needed. If something was missing we sent a text to the host and got everything provided within a couple of hours.

The rooms are really spacious and well equipped. Moreover, the host of the Mountain View was really kind and helpful. A stay at the Mountain View is definitely worth it.

Booking an accommodation in La Gaulette one should know that this village does noch have a beach itself. The next on is Le Morne Beach. However, does not diminish the quality of the Mountain View itself.

Everything went according to plan and expectation. Mr Khan exceeded our expectation by providing a mini grocery to prepare our supper as we arrived late evening after all nearby restaurants and grocery shops had closed. We are forever grateful to Mr Khan for his generosity and thoughtfulness. The place was spotlessly clean and cleaning services were provided by a cheerful lady on a daily basis.

There was nothing we could not like, the place was comfortable, the host and staff ensured it.

The owner was very friendly and offered help from the beginning. The studio is very big a everything was clean. Private free parking. WiFi was good. We also enjoyed the balcony to sit there in the evening. You can access good bar and grocery store by walking. No noise at night. You need to have a car if you want to go to Le Morne beach which is nearby

It was hard to find location at night as there was no visible sign on a road.

Convenient location close to supermarket. Kitchen well equipped. We didn't have matches or kitchen towel but when we told shan he was there within 10mins to provide. Really good space for 2ppl. Bathroom was nice with hot shower.

Small stuff like could use more toiletries in the bathroom like shampoo and conditioner. Overall still a really good stay. Pls note need car or public transport to get to beach.

A+++ check in experience. Was contacted on WhatsApp for check in information. I had some challenges getting to the hotel on time, which they were accommodating for. Not only did they accommodate the late check in, the man checking me in brought me an energy drink. He gave me detail on what to do in the area and gave me some bus information that really helped me figure out my plans for the next day

Host very kind, good flat, great location

Honest review Probably one of the best accommodations available in Mauritius, the host is really nice and helpful, location is great. Big room, clean, hotel like service provided every day, towels changed and even our clothes left on the bed were nicely arranged every evening when we came back. The view is absolutely amazing, especially if you get a room on the top floor. The host was really helpful, after we had a bad experience in a different place on the other side of the island, he was able to help out, if felt just like coming home. I would recommend the place especially for a longer stay.

The accommodation is really spacious and excellent value for money. You'll get a large living room/bed room, a well equipped kitchen, beautiful bathroom, and a terrace which is a great place to relax after a long day of hiking and swimming. The location is great: you are in close proximity to the national park, Le Morne, Le Morne beach, Chamarel... You also have a super market, restaurants and a bar within walking distance.

Nothing to add. You will need to take transport to go to the beach, but this will take 5 min. So it is not a big deal.

We liked everything! The apartment was great, spacious, even nicer and bigger as in the pictures! Also, the location is great for exploring this part of the island, with a paradise beach only 10 minutes drive. We extended our stay, because it was so nice! And a fruit bat comes for breakfast to feed on mangoes! :) We would give it 11 out of 10, if possible!

That we need to go home and not stay here forever! :)

the Place is just awesome!! so much Space, such a Great Location and a very helpful host. cleaning lady came very day and did a fantastic job. superb airCon and a really nice ventilator from the top, so you don’t Need the airCon overnight I highly recommend this place to everybody

The facility exceed by far our expectations. The room was huge, clean, nicely decorated with all the facilities needed for a maximum comfort. Nice and comfortable bathroom as well. The interaction with the owner was very good. There is a good supermarket 7 minutes walk with a restaurant for dinner as well (average food but very nice atmosphere with live music). The location is great to explore south-west of the island including Le Morne, Casela Nature Park, to go swimming with the dolphins etc.

This was really a beautiful unit and it was well maintained. Lovely King sized bed. The unit was very clean and the host was involved to make our stay as confortable as possible. One of the best units in this price range I have seen so far.

I particularly liked the large spacious bedroom, large bed, fully-equipped kitchen and cleanliness of the bathroom and the studio in general.

We got a room upstairs but the bbq facility was located downstairs in the garden. We thought that it was wiser to drop the idea of bbq as going up and down the long staircase, especially if you are a bit tipsy, would not be a good idea. The grill was not too clean either. However, the oven in the studio made up for it and we were able to prepare a nice dinner. I did bring my own non-stick kitchenware though.

The stay exceeded our expectations. Perfect place (a huge flat with literally everything you need), perfect location in the south-east (safe and close to a supermarket) and perfect owner (very approachable and extremely friendly). We really felt like at home. Shan, thank you for going above and beyond! We’d definitely stay again.
