Our two nights stay at Turks Hall exceeded our highest expectations. The house has a very welcoming living room where we were served tea on arrival and shown to our beautifully appointed bedroom. Caroline and David are wonderful hosts and we enjoyed their conversation and cuisine enormously. The breakfast is elegantly prepared with a variety of fresh produce, and is absolutely delicious. I have no hesitation in recommending Turks Hall as a wonderful base for exploring Bruton and the surrounding area.

A wonderful and very healthy breakfast of nuts, seeds, fruit and yoghurt plus a croissant. The room was superb with lovely extras like a jar of homemade flapjacks and even a Kilner bottle of Sherry! Extremely pleasant couple as hosts. Couldn't have asked for more.
Everything was excellent. No complaints at all.

We had a wonderful stay Turks Hall - Caroline and David welcomed us in their beautiful and cosy house which is at a 5 min walk from the centre of Bruton. They are lovely and flexible, helped us with recommendations for restaurants and cafés and served an amazing homemade breakfast in the morning. We would definitely recommend Turks Hall for a weekend in Bruton (and for longer)!

Handily located just a short walk from Bruton town centre. The hostess and host are first class and nothing is too much trouble to make the stay pleasant and hassle free.
Car parking is more a matter of luck but there are a number of options nearby.

Caroline and David were wonderful hosts. Beyond having a lovely home making for a lovely stay, they were so helpful in terms of recommendations of places to see and eat in Bruton and the surrounding area. We felt so welcome and would recommend them to anyone looking to stay in the area. It added an unforgettable aspect to our time in Bruton!

Comfortable, everything we needed and more, very well looked after. Lovely variety of home-prepared cereals and fruits for breakfasts. Great location for exploring Bruton and walking in the local countryside.

I had booked for my parents and it is always a bit of a worry booking for others but I needn't have worried. My parents were extremely well catered for and they enjoyed their stay very much. Hosts David and Caroline could not have made them more welcome. It was a really good choice on my part! We would thoroughly recommend Turks Hall.

Host was very welcoming but also gave us space. Place was really clean. Beds were very comfortable. Excellent little touches in the rooms including home made flapjacks! Walkable to some great restaurants in Bruton and we had a really nice stay.
Minor one - but the bookshelves above the beds were a little low for taller guests. Making it a little difficult to lie back in bed and read. But this was not really an issue as we were mainly out and about.

Parking wasn’t a problem even though there is no off road parking on site.
I used the WiFi and worked remotely all day from my room which worked perfectly. The hosts are warm and friendly and the continental breakfast is of a very high standard.
Certainly a great value place to stay in walking distance of all the amenities

Although sadly a cooked breakfast was not offered due to Covid, the alternatives offered were great - particularly the homemade compote.
The hosts went above and beyond in terms of being helpful: dropping us off at places we wanted to go to nearby and booking something on our behalf that we hadn't appreciated needed to be booked.
The room we were in had lot's of character - with no shortage of books to read should we have needed reading material!
The hosts also offered up use of their living room as somewhere to sit/read.
The bathroom we had use of was very large and well decorated with both a bath and separate shower.
There could have perhaps been a little more storage space/hanging space made available in the room we were in (the smaller of the rooms).

Hosts extremely attentive anything you needed was provided.
Parking was little difficult on the street.
