Very friendly staff and a great location.

If you are not used to driving in hilly terrain, driving to this place is quite difficult and risky.

Klima paradise is a perfect place for a honeymoon. The welcome was delightful, we were served a excellent Greek breakfast in front of a beautiful bay. We slept peacefully (great bed) and finished the stay fully rested. Of top of that, Mike and his crew made us discover the island of Samos. Is it here that we learned the concept of Greek hospitality. Trully, Klima deserved to be call a paradise!

Cassie, the only staff person, kept things running. She did a fabulous job with keeping the room clean, and with her limited English, did her best to help when we needed it.

Location was quite remote, and very nice, but no umbrellas, sun beds very basic. The only hotel on Klima. One would have expected better service given that. There was one other restaurant in the area, and that’s where we ate lunch on the first day, as the owner had to leave the hotel rather abruptly due to his abrupt departure on his boat, which he was always on whenever we saw him round. We were never checked in. Can’t say that’s occurred before. Breakfast was very basic. Instant coffee, tea, slices of white bread, boiled eggs, slices of cheese and meats, yogurt, corn flakes, some fruit and fruit juice. We rented a car and ended up going to other beaches with better sunbeds and tavernas that served lunch. The property looks like it has seen better days. The back of the hotel almost looked like a junkyard of sorts. The owner, Michael, known as “Your Greek Life Coach”, which is on a plaque posted at the restaurant, was scarce. Though we are fairly independent travelers, it would have been nice to have had some local insights/suggestions from him about Samos.

Bed and pillows, location, friendly staff! Location: beachfront with small rocks, great sea. 35’ drive from Vathy and Pythagoreio (on the other side). Sandy beach ‘Psili Ammos’ 25’ min drive. Nearest supermarket 20’ drive. If you want to see something else besides this beach in Samos you definitely need a car. Cleanliness: every day- good (it could be excellent if bathroom was renovated) On top: Asked for a baby playpen and they had a brand new one.

Bathroom size, slippery shower (appliance), kitchenette was working properly but was old. Bathroom and kitchen need renovation. Breakfast was basic - good coffee was missing. Only instant coffee was offered (Nescafé), no filter coffee option. Also there was no possibility (even if you paid) of an espresso or cappuccino (this is important because to buy one someone needs to drive 10’ to Posidoneio beach).

The bay and the view across to Turkey are lovely. The extra salty seawater is wonderful to swim in. There are invigorating coastal walks. And our fabulous hosts, Stratos and Chryssa, keep up a constant stream of food, drink, humour and wisdom.

The hornets, which occasionally appear at lunchtime later in the season, However they are soon dispersed with a dish of smoking coffee grounds.
